The question that bothers me is - is there actually any "team" or is it just a one-man band (LL). Has anyone had any success in getting any response outside of bitcointalk, i.e. are they responding to submitted tickets etc?

As far as I'm aware, there was at least one other member who was involved in developing Bitvest and 777Coin casinos, and that's Zodiac1233. Though he hasn't been active on the forum for a year, his latest post suggests that he's still a part of the team.

But then, I started to see that it's no longer like from this time or is it because they've got lesser players so complaints have became less already. Otherwise, the operation is running smoothly.

I drop by there from time to time and it is definitely sad to see where it's gone. It used to be a fairly large site overall and now the volume is abysmal. Plus reading about LL not being responsive and everything is a bit concerning, so I doubt most people would trust it with many funds at this point.

You sure have a point, Bitvest was indeed one of the most vibrant casinos i knew of on this forum, they were really popular most especially in the days they had their signature campaign still active , but suddenly, after they closed their signature campaign, LL stopped posting here, and even up until now, it seems no member from the Bitvest team has ever come here to share with the community what is really going on, But the goodnews is that the site still online and from the activities, we can see that some person are still doing their gambling there, though this is what i personally would not do, but still, i would advice any body that wish to try out this casino to do so by starting with very minimal amount first, and make sure to try the withdrawal and pay attention on how long it took to receive the coin to your wallet, this should at least give an idea of how heathy the casino still is.

Remembering those years that they are one indeed the most popular which is Bitvest and 777 and their signature campaign does have lots of participants but as years passing by on which development and changes
plus those tough competitors do really make some good stir into this market.We didnt even see that Bitvest did make some overhaul which its design do end up on being that could easily be kicked up out of the competition.You could make out that huge comparison in between GUI/GUX which is really that different.Some say that why would fix if its not broken but we know that competition becomes fierce

Plus, from the site's perspective, having a "few" key investors is highly undesirable, as there's a risk of some of them pulling out at the same time, meaning the max winning would have to be massively reduced, to the point of site becoming unattractive to play.

They would have to do something eventually. You can't solely rely on old, loyal players to keep playing forever. People go broke, stop gambling for whatever reason, get bored, move to other casinos, die etc. I don't think organic traffic from search engines will be enough and the activity will start to wane (if it hasn't already).

And marketing actions don't necessarily have to be big and expensive. Some small things can turn very effective, i.e. posting signature code(s) in the first post, for any investor/referrer to use (if they're not participating in any signature campaign) could drive some decent traffic in. That's something just-dice did successfully in the past and they didn't even have a referral programme.

Bitvest is not big anymore if you will compared it on the existing big casino. It only offers house game which every casino have while it doesn’t improve its feature since the last time I visit the casino. You should not focus on the name alone but on what’s the current reality when you visit the casino. It needs a total revamped in able to catch up to competitors.

It’s very hard to catch more gamblers to play with you when you are competing with the big boys using games that is already too common for all existing casino including mediocre one.

Except by now, every other member of the team have left the profit, aside this, I am trying to really wrap my head around how possible it is to operate a casino as big as bitvest alone, this is talking the bitvest we knew way back during the days they still had their signature campaign running..
I don't think LL was the only one running the casino, he must have had a group of people who were working with him on this casino, this is why I am also of the opinion that, why don't LL hand over the casino to another trusted friend to manage, rather than leave it to die a slow death like this.??

Yes, you are right on this one on which its up to their choice whether the owner or the company will decide to continue their promotions or completely stop because they had able to hit up their goal or target.

It is really just that there are people who do love to raise up some issues and trying to make on just to make them look bad or doesnt really have a good image because of what they are currently doing.

If the owner/s do tend not to make up some any noise and just decide to be quiet and wont be giving updates or whatsover then its their decision.Although its really that preferable on seeing

Yup, they used to be a big thing, but nowadays I'm only aware of 2 sites that allow BTC investments in the bankroll.
Strangely enough, them being less "popular" as investments, can make them more profitable. It's all about the wagered-to-bankroll ratio after all.

I'm too lazy to manually calculate the daily/monthly wagered average, but assuming it's about 7btc/day, HE is 1% and the total bankroll (per dicesites) is 78btc - this gives:
(BTC7*0.01*365)/365=32.8% expected annual yield. And that's in bitcoin, which is likely to appreciate in value on its own in the near future.

Of course this is overly optimistic, as low HE sites often have a hard time to achieve profits at expected levels + this doesn't account for investment margins. But still hard to ignore.

So it mostly boils down to how trustworthy and reliable the owner is. Sadly, such sites tend to be one-man bands, so if something happens to that person, it all falls down.

True, that it may not really be accurate if pertains to the stats as it changes at most times. I'm not invested in their bankroll but if you wanna go and continue I think you can just observe more and just go to their chat and ask people there as it seems that there's still quite a number that you can talk with. As for their marketing, the campaigns that they've done before were effective and made them popular. The inactivity on the forum by the owner might have some impact but we don't know the reasons behind it. As long as there's someone that operates it and likely from the forum as well but no longer active too, just wishing all of the players here and there to not experience such problems.

I think lightlord and the team have made enough noise in the past already and with their long term campaign in this forum, I am sure the casino have build enough community members to sustain their business and that may be the reason why the admin have become less concern and silent on all matters as it relates to trying to buold a reputation or attracting newer players with promotion that will increase the visibility in this forum. And if that be the case, as long as the casino live support and chat are active in responding to players on their site and solving issues, that will justify the silent mode of operations.

Thanks, I did not know that. That's a big, red flag for me. I do understand that any business operator can experience some liquidity issues once in a while which can cause delays but I can't relate to people owing money to others and just staying quiet and not responding for prolonged periods of time.

I understand that all the participants (and staff) got paid eventually, but LL still has some negative feedback which probably won't go away, as the reason for that feedback was the way he conducted his obligations, rather than just a fact of not making payments.

Haven't received red flags for delayed campaign payment, lightlord activeness on this forum have not changed since the reason for the red tag was on his inactiveness to attend to campaign issues and other questions that requires his action at that time.

That is good but what are the expectations of the customers? I just think the major expectations of the customers are fair smooth gambling atmosphere. When the gamblers play bet there should be no extra questions when the gambler wins because there will no question when the gambler losses a game. And the cash out should be smoothly. If there is no complain on a casino for very long run of the company then that casino has created a very good reputation in the gambling world.  Lightlord is just staff to run the ANN thread so no crucification should for him

The way LightLord actually handled the payment of those who promoted his casino through signature campaign is really not encouraging I must say, and if I must be sincere with the way I feel about it, I will tell you he deserved the red trust he got for..

It's good to know that Lightlord is in his best condition and also to see that the casinos are up and running since the live chat is still very active and promotions are going on in the live chat.
