I have all purchase receipts, ask me a copy when you buy, and I will give them to you. The warranty is in theory not transferrable, but manufacturers don't always care if the name on the purchase receipt does not match the name of the person exercising the warranty:
- PSUs have been purchased on Newegg or Amazon between Dec 2010 and Jul 2011, and have a 7 year warranty
- mobos have been purchased on Newegg between Dec 2010 and Jul 2011, and have a 3 year warranty

Hi, I might be interested in 2x6990. I have great rep on otc http://bitcoin-otc.com/viewratingdetail.php?nick=ssateneth (I am almost always logged in at #bitcoin-otc and always identified and authed).

I can avoid the paypal fees by sending it as a payment owed. Would you in turn take $600 shipped for 2 6990's to 54501?

I also have dwolla but I have no money it it, and it would take about a week to get money in it.

Did you have the full five 5970/6990s per mobo? How many cards did you power from one of those PSUs?

Typically, I ran either 4x5970 or 3x6990 per PSU. With memory downclocked on the cards.
Both configs draw about 970-1000W out of the PSU (which is ~90% efficient, so 1080-1110W at the wall).

I have never tried it, but you could go as far as 5x5970, as it would be just about 100% of its rated capacity, and the AX1200 is a well-engineered piece of hardware able to tolerate such a continuous load. But only do this if you know what you are doing, ie. if you have a clamp meter to measure current on the 12V rails to be sure you are not going over specs.

Like me Smiley I power 5 5970's off of a rosewill lightning 1300w. One of the 5970 is on an adjacent machine with a power supply that cant power 8 gpus total (pc power & cooling 1kw-sr)

It does not matter, they are all technically identical reference models from AMD. Only the sticker changes from card to card.

But if you care, they are all Sapphire and Visiontek.

(Finally selling the rest of my farm... Pheww)

I have complete mining rigs for sale.

- 23 15 x Radeon 5970s capable of 650 Mhash/s at stock clocks ($200 each)
- 10 9 x Radeon 6990s capable of 700 Mhash/s at stock clocks ($300 each)
- 20 x PSU Corsair CMPSU-AX1200 1200W ($200 each)
- 20 18 x Mobo MSI 890FXA-GD70 with 5 PCIe x16 slots ($120 each)
- I include the CPUs & RAM for free with each mobo (AMD Sempron 140 2.7GHz + 2GB DDR3-1066).

Edit: sold 1 5970 on Nov 3.
Edit: sold 5 5970s on Nov 3.
Edit: sold 1 6990 on Nov 4.
Edit: sold 2 5970s on Nov 4.
Edit: sold 2 mobos on Nov 4.

Shipping is extra. I ship from Los Angeles.

I have all purchase receipts expect 2 (see below). The warranty is in theory not transferrable, but manufacturers don't always care if the name on the purchase receipt does not match the name of the person exercising the warranty:
- all my 6990s were bought on Newegg or TigerDirect around May-Jun 2011 and have a 2 years warranty
- 3 of my 5970s were bought on Newegg, they are still under warranty (2 years)
- 2 of my 5970s were bought used from Ebay or the bitcoin forums, I have no purchase receipts to claim warranty. I believe their warranty period has expired anyway
- 5 of my 5970s were bought OEM from Newegg on Aug 2011 and their warranty was 30 days and already expired: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814105001
- 5 of my 5970s were bought OEM from Amazon on Aug 2011 from a reseller (UnityElectronics) who closed shop. The amazon.com product page now shows a generic 5970 page with no warranty info, so I don't think any kind of warranty still applies to them: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005ISV72Y/
- PSUs have been purchased on Newegg or Amazon between Dec 2010 and Jul 2011, and have a 7 year warranty
- mobos have been purchased on Newegg between Dec 2010 and Jul 2011, and have a 3 year warranty
how much for 20 18 of the mobos, 20 of the psus, and 23 15 of the 5970s?

stock is 1.05v presumably?

tracking number received Thanks.

Just to let you know, I paid more than what I offered for the mobo combo and it was a pair that had to be shipped from one side to other side, so shipping is a concern for me. But that being said, I believe mrb gave me a fair deal. Love dealing with professionals!

I made you an offer privately.

For a transaction of this size, I would require payment in BTC, since it will almost surely trigger all sorts of alerts in Paypal.
Also I would prefer local pickup in the Los Angeles area (so cash is possible) as the 20 PSUs alone in their boxes weight 160 lb total (8 lb each).

Yes 5970 is at stock 1.05v and I have been running them at stock voltage & clocks.

I got the board yesterday. I noticed it's a little curved up on the pcie bus area at the end of the board.  I also can't get any cards to get recognized on those buses (5 & 6) if bus 1 and 3 are occupied.

MRB, did you use these for more than 4 cards?

EDIT: I needed at least 1 powered riser. Thanks. Good Board!

+ rep for MRB

Everything arrived quickly, with tracking, and in its original box. I can attest to the comments that he takes care of his equipment... everything almost looks brand new.

Thanks!

I bought a 5970 from mrb and paid him up front and got the tracking info the next day.  I received it from UPS and it's been up and running for about 6 days now and no problems at all!  I'm very happy with our transaction and just wish I had the $$ to pick up some more stuff.  Thanks mrb!

I have 5970s back in stock! I received them as warranty replacement units from the vendor, so they have never been used for mining, and are in very good condition.

I also have 2 brand new 7950s.

I'm tight on money, but also desperately need a higher capacity and more efficient power supply (My PC P&C 1KW-SR can't keep up anymore. It was a great power supply when it came out, but not so much anymore). I was going to offer $150 shipped for one AX1200 to 54501, but you'll probably counteroffer something higher, so I'll cut out the negotiating back and forth.

$165 shipped for one Corsair AX1200. I won't budge on this offer.

Thanks for the 7950s! I'm getting together the last couple pieces for my build and these should do nicely.

I bought a board combo and 5970 from this gentlemen and I can only give my highest rating on how he handles business. First off, he held these things for at least 2 weeks while I found a way to buy bitcoins to pay him when he could of sold the 5970 in a heartbeat. Secondly he was nice enough to split shipping costs being as I live in Canada it was pricey! Thirdly, the condition of these items was beyond my expectation, being used, I suspected some noticeable wear, but I couldn't find any! Thanks again Mrb!  Grin

Bump. Now that ASICs are coming online, people might be interested to run them on very efficient PSUs... The Corsair AX1200 I am selling is 80+ Gold rated, so 92% efficient mimimum at 50% load.

$230 in BTC total (including $60 of shipping cost using a USPS Medium Flat Rate box - I don't know any cheaper way to ship to the UK).
