Bitwasp clearly tells you on their website not to use them. OP you can check out https://www.reddit.com/r/darknetmarkets be sure to spend some time on https://www.reddit.com/r/darknetmarketsnoobs first though. Once again can't say this clearly enough no one use bitwasp to create a marketplace!

Also personally I wouldn't follow Cryptorials links, 100% chance its either a phishing attempt or the marketplace has near zero vendors. I would only trust links posted here https://www.reddit.com/r/darknetmarkets/wiki/superlist the most popular are abraxas alphabay and nucleus. Reddit loves abraxas the most out of that list.

I think its unlikely that you will find anything reliable about how to make a marketplace yourself on Reddit, but there's no harm in asking around.

I agree that BitWasp is not production ready, as it says clearly on the Github page I share a link to (I presume that's what you mean by the website?), but I'm pretty sure its the closest thing there is right now to an 'off the shelf' script for setting up your own market. Also its under active development so at some point in the future it should be ok to use, but you're right that as the intro on GitHub says its far from ready for general release so unless you really know what you are doing its not a good idea to set up a marketplace using it right now.

I can assure you that the links aren't phishing attempts on my part, I have tested the market and had no problems - of course that's no guarantee for the future. I run Cryptorials.io which regularly publishes popular articles on deep web related topics and, for example, is #1 in Google for 'how to buy things on the deep web' and the first page for 'dark markets' and 'how to sell drugs online'. You are right that they don't have a lot of vendors though, because as I said when I shared the links it has only been set up quite recently after the owners took over development of bitwasp, which was I understand from a deepdotweb article was previously released and used by a number of marketplaces but had problems due to newbies setting up sites without knowing what they were doing and getting themselves in trouble.

EDIT: It is safer to use established sites like Abraxas though. I shared the links mainly because of the relationship to BitWasp.

Yea I read his question weird, all in all its in his best interest not to make a published marketplace, because if you have to ask, you shouldn't even consider it. If he just wants to walk himself through the process bitwasp is there. Damn though, ate those last words at the end huh?

My advise would be to stay our of those markets unless that is your market.  Obviously, you do not know much about them, so I am assuming that is not your market.  Those places give BTC a bad name and do not help with the advancement of BTC.  Again, this is only my opinion.  I personally do not support those markets in any way.

That is maybe true that advancement of BTC will not help, but money is just money.

People still buy illegal thing with cash. It is not a different think. And now people is talking about Isis and BTC. And still BTC is the same nothing change.

https://www.thecthulhu.com/setting-up-a-hidden-service-with-nginx/

Here is a very simple set up. If you don't plan on doing anything illegal right now then you could practice in a virtual machine.

I have seen darknet. Most of them own a horrible illegal activity.
Never mind to come back there or even build a market place site.

Yea... yea... We believe you...  Roll Eyes You come onto this site with a Newbie account, asking ways to create a Onion site, and you want us to believe you? We are trying our best to

avoid all links from Bitcoin to these kind of markets and then you want us to support you in doing this? What legal products do you want to sell on the Dark Web, that you

cannot sell on a normal website without the anonymity features? These type of questions can be answered on other boards, surely not on a Bitcoin forum?  Sad

You have to be technical enough to layer your websites in such a way where its completely hidden from filtered layer .You can find those servers and related services on dark market places itself. They offer hidden servers with complete anonimyty .You basically just develop a website and host it on the dark web servers.

This is an attempt at maintaining a definitive list of all functional marketplaces on the Tor network that function as advertised. We do not link to markets that are scams or that function in a way that makes their users unsafe.
Services listed under “Trusted Darknet Markets” have been reliable for a while and have accumulated a good amount of trust in the Darknet community.
To use these markets users must access the .onion addresses using the Tor network.
can you explain about this?is this true?

I am happy that the media did not have an oppertunity to report on these criminal  market places, since the major ones were gone.

This gives bitcoin a better name in the long term.

Yes I know we will never get rid of all of them, but less bad media attention is good for bitcoin.

You can't stop it, but the less we support it, the less it can grow. It sounds weird but even criminals who do their business online should prevent using bitcoin as their main currency.

In a way this already happened since large exchange implemented daily limits for withdrawals etc.

The dark market should not get so much attention.

Bitcoin is a currency and yes criminals will use any tender to conduct their crime.

It is not just bitcoin that is used by them.

LOL, i don't think they are.

But you are right the bad press is terrible for bitcoin and what's even more frightning is that people are looking for those places.

There is a reason why it is dark, and no it's not a good reason.

But not here on our country, major medias here only report bad news about bitcoin, not on nationwide television though, just by articles. Still not good for bitcoin.

The media will do that, since let's face it there is no good news for bitcoin.

Suppose some people set up the largest donation platform with bitcoin, or crowd funding then their news outlook would be different. Right now they can sell more newspapers by writing negative stuff, instead of stuff about charities. In a way, we the bitcoin community, are too blame to, since we look for dark market places instead of buliding new donation platforms etc.
