Hi all,

BitcoinsForChristmas is back for our second year, brought to you by StrikeSapphire and GoWest (the Bitcoin Trader).

As before, this is as a free service for spreading holiday cheer and getting new people into Bitcoin! Simply schedule a gift of coins to be sent (along with a holiday message) to anyone with an email address. You can schedule them for any day between now and New Years. Send as large or small a gift as you like.

On the date you choose, your recipient will get your note, along with a unique web address where they can pick up their coins. If they're new to Bitcoin, the site helps them through setting up MultiBit and receiving coins for the first time.

If they don't pick up their coins within a month, we'll send you an address where you can claim them back. We keep no portion of coins sent through the system, and as with last year, all unclaimed coins will be given to charity on March 1st. Last year, $411 was given to Habitat for Humanity.

We are accepting sponsorships from Bitcoin businesses to recoup our costs. Part of the site's goal is to educate new converts to Bitcoin and show them all the places they can spend their gifts. All gift-recipients are shown our sponsors page after they pick up their coins. If your business would like to sponsor the site, we'll put your link or banner up from now through Jan. 31st. Rates are 2 BTC for a simple link, 6 BTC for a 468x60 pixel banner (no animations please). PM me right away to get your banner up quickly.

Happy holidays!
