Cool idea of guys! Very useful thing in the modern world. I keep large enough amounts in bitcoin and to protect these funds becomes a big problem.
And you did not try to withdraw your money? This will allow you to maximally secure your savings. Or invest in some kind of project.
To deduce - not the best idea. I then can not make money on bitcoin. And I do not need it.
Have you already been abducted by electronic money? Someone hacked your e-wallet? Or do you know those who have been stolen? I just do not worry about my money. I think they are well protected.
I also invested in my time in obscure projects, and I hacked hackers e-wallet. Whatever you tried, you can not completely protect yourself from this.

I was not hacked, but I would not want to be at the victim's place. I have nowhere else to invest, I'm not very rich and every cent I have in my account is important to me. Losing a little will even be unpleasant.

This is in vain. Invest your funds not only in the crypto currency. Let them be small, but you will have at least some kind of insurance. At least you will still have money somewhere else. This will protect you. Let it be gold, real estate, or something else.

It it just me or does anyone else think this is an account farmer talking to one of his sock puppets?  If so I am going to ask both to be banned.

Does anyone know if there is any way to build custom transactions? I want to control exactly which addresses are used as inputs and I want to control what address the change is going to. Mostly though, the change address is the important part, so that I don't inadvertently link my addresses together.

Good question. I would love to know that myself.

Also I would really like to see a video showing what the process is like for digitally signing a longish document on the trezor model t. Or does the model t still have a character limit on digitally signed text? As far as I can surmise, the ability to digitally sign a long document like a standard legal contract is the only real advantage over the original trezor. I would be willing to send a five dollar tip to anyone who makes this for me.

Also I would be interested to know If anyone has any other reasons why the model t is preferable to them over the original. Yes, I am searching for a reason to buy a new toy!

With modell T you can type the passphrase on the trezor touchscreen instead on the computer keyboard.

It's easier to use the number pad. I can probably type it twice as quickly with the number pad. Also typing it on the screen is probably less secure. Easier for someone to see where you are placing your thumbs. Or does it scramble it on there too?

It is not about the pin, but the second passphrase for logging into different accounts.

If your seed is compromised and somebody installs a keylogger on your computer, your coins are gone.

Would you describe how a standard transaction would take place?
Do I have to plug it into a PC? Do I need extra software?

It's very easy to use. Google chrome is enough. Also you can use paired with your mobile device.
basic advantage of Trezor wallet is where you can use it and with it malware infected pc.
I am very satisfied with Trezor, I'm just sorry about it right after i am buy this wallet they relase new improved version.

I received my TREZOR T yesterday (thread). I can do this for you, please PM me an example document if you have one. I still haven't set up GPG for my TREZOR but it will be a good chance to do so Smiley

Does anyone know if there is any way to build custom transactions? I want to control exactly which addresses are used as inputs and I want to control what address the change is going to. Mostly though, the change address is the important part, so that I don't inadvertently link my addresses together.

TREZOR does not support coin control, yet. As far as I know from their Telegram and Reddit, it is a planned feature. Right now, you can control your coins using Electrum. If you don't want to link your identities, you should use different accounts.

Also typing it on the screen is probably less secure. Easier for someone to see where you are placing your thumbs. Or does it scramble it on there too?

Using built-in screen is much more secure because you type everything (passphrase, PIN, seed words) on the device itself, keyloggers can't do any harm. PIN scrambles every time you power on the device. Who use their hardware wallet in a public place anyway?

With modell T you can type the passphrase on the trezor touchscreen instead on the computer keyboard.

Actually, TREZOR asks you whether you want to type it on the device's screen or on host's. I can post a photo with that screen if you want.

If anyone has any questions regarding TREZOR model T, please visit my thread since I will be checking it more often.

Thanks, I'll try to make a video for you tomorrow. Where do you want me to upload the video? Are you okay with Youtube? Is there anything else you would like to see? It will be much easier to include everything in one video.

Yes youtube would be great.

Hm. I guess I'm a bit interested in your appraisal of how the touch screen feels when you use it. Is it responsive? Is it too responsive? Does it ever fail to receive intended commands, go off when you didn't intend to, or on buttons you didn't intend to push? Stuff like that.

Thanks!
