I was reading the last blog article Trezor made and at the bottom, they added an image where it says "23% off" and some coins which I believe they support. Tether logo was there, I'm pretty sure that they don't currently support it, at least not without using a third party service. Can anyone confirm that they'll support it in the future?

I want to understand how this Dry-run process works exactly. If I were you, I would go with the advanced recovery. It will surely take you a lot of time to enter your 24 word seed but it's better than exposing it to your computer which might be infected. Here you can find more detailed information written by the TREZOR support. I went through the whole process once and it wasn't difficult at all.

Dry-run = entering the seed on the computer. Advanced recovery = entering the seed the same way as PIN.

Since not everyone here browse "Development & Technical Discussion" section, I would like to inform you that TREZOR has released a new software update for both Trezor One and Trezor T. Monero support is finally here! However, it is not available on the older model due to hardware limitations and it can be accessed only in the monero-wallet-cli (GUI has been not updated yet). The update is available only in the beta wallet. If you want to know what the new coins are, check out the topic which I posted recently.

It's being a long time since I haven't updated my Trezor and I missed a lot of updates, I'm now in 1.6.3 and even though it said "erasing..." while the update was happening and I remember reading that one of the updates will erase everything indeed, I still have my funds in the wallet and I didn't have to type my seed again?

Also, I'm curious, the changelog of the 1.6.3 update says that 80 new tokens have been added. Why do they need to be added manually and why they need to be added by Trezor in the first place since we're using MyCrypto and MEW as a third-party service?

Currently, TREZOR supports every Ethereum token which follows ERC20 standard. Support for token which follows a different standard needs to be added manually. I was told by one of the TREZOR Telegram channel admins that they do that and list such coins here. However, I can only see ERC20 tokens there. It would make sense if they had already added Ethereum to their web wallet. Don't you think that the above list is targeted to newbies which don't understand tokens?

As far as I remember, 1.6.2 update wiped my device's memory while 1.6.3 didn't. You have updated your device directly to 1.6.3 so that's the reason.

Trezor servers run Bitcoin ABC software which means that on the 15th November they will follow ABC's proposal. The other chain won't be officially supported (no replay protection and splitting tool) but it will be possible to claim those coins using Electron Cash.

But technically speaking, that's also insecure, right? I mean the only reason why Trezor didn't implement this is that they care about the user's funds safety so an alternative shouldn't even be suggested.

A little bit off topic question but does anyone knows what's happening? I mean who's on each side, Bitmain & Roger ver etc. I believe there will be two forks so which one is it are exchanges going to drop the name "BCH" and go with "Bitcoin ABC" (whatever the ticker name will be).

Bitcoin ABC is supported by Bitmain and Ver. Bitcoin SV is supported by Craig Wright and Calvin Ayre (coingeek.) The there will also be Cobra's fork. currently Bitcoin Unlimited supports the abc rule set but are working on making it compatible with Sv fork as well.

You have to connect your Trezor only during the wallet creation and when you want to sign a transaction. Trezor is busy with more important things, for example, adding support for native SegWit addresses directly to their web interface. Beside the code changes, they would have to run nodes following Bitcoin SV chain.

TREZOR is currently porting trezor-core (new software which is used by Trezor T) to Trezor One so that it could take advantage of new features and coins. However, Monero might not be supported due to hardware limitations (memory problems) but TREZOR team is trying to address this issue. Monero has had a few hardforks so the firmware you linked is a bit out of date.

I know the desktop wallets simply use an API to interact with the hardware wallet so It's still safe but what I meant is that If there is no replay protection then it sound very unsafe.

TREZOR has nothing to do with implementing replay protection in any of these coins. The biggest problem are users who demand TREZOR to do something. They have published Hard Fork Advisory on their blog and that's the only thing they could do.

By the way, it is possible to run TREZOR emulator on a Raspberry Pi. Check out this article. The author used hardware similar to the one recommended by RaspiBlitz and it worked quite well. One should not store a lot of bitcoins on such setup.

TREZOR has just released another article whose aim is to warn users about possible phishing attacks. They managed to describe various dangers which every user might encounter at some point. I am not going to write TL;DR - every piece of information written there is important. Take advantage of built-in screen - check your receiving addresses and transactions before broadcasting them.

As for the Trezor model T, a bug which causes screen flickering will be fixed in the next software update.

A new optional update has been released for Trezor model T. The update can be downloaded only from the beta wallet. Changes: fix for Monero payment ID computation and issue with touch screen and flickering, added support for OMNI layer: OMNI/MAID/USDT and new coins: BTX, CPC, GAME, RVN. TREZOR has also updated the beta wallet and you can now access your Ether and ERC20 compatible tokens through the web interface! More information can be found here.

Some of you might have noticed that Trezor has released a new model which is a limited edition of the Trezor One. There are only 300 pieces and the price is 500 euro + VAT. How is it different? Well, its chassis is made from aluminium and that's it. Is it worth its price tag? Decide for yourself, it is still available even though there aren't many pieces - this should speak for itself.

I have got some good news for you! Trezor One has just got another update in which support for OMNI layer has been introduced. TREZOR One is now capable of holding OMNI, MAIN and USDT (Tether). Here you can read more about the update.
