Pock-It (already taken, but I guess it depends on where you register it)
it's funny because it's kinda pronounced like "wallet" and you put it in your pocket, so it talks to you: "pocket it!"

Avare
Because you are "aware" (in the sense of "knowing what's going on"), and that's why you use Bitcoin.

In this case, we should skip the alpha phase to avoid copyright issues ;-).

Super excited about this project Smiley A couple comments...

1) I absolutely agree with you Slush that the best product names are not directly related to the item. Let's please stop putting "Bit" in every Bitcoin product and service =)

2) "IceTank" is the best suggestion so far, provided by Phelix.  Use icy or wintery visual branding, a white/blue/silver color scheme, with a very professional logo and you'll have a winner. This product deserves a slick brand... I'm happy to advise, just get in touch with me on Skype.

thanks - though I actually thought of this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intrusion_Countermeasures_Electronics#Description_of_ICE

Quote
Intrusion Countermeasures Electronics (ICE) is a term used in cyberpunk literature to refer to security programs which protect computerized data from being accessed by hackers.

slush, stick: I think you got it exactly right Wink

After reading this, I just thought of the name Popsicle

1) its slush (ice) on a stick
2) its a tiny device that connects to USB sticks
3) you get the cold storage connotation from the name

Privet (private wallet, also "Hello!" in Russian language) In English it will probably be spelled like Private or Pivote (tank being able to turn in-place from WoT).

Hardcard (already used by ISA HDD controller/dumb harddrive hybrids in mid 80-ties, now obsolete)

Bitbox (already suggested by someone else before me, already used by some "hardened FireFox" project)

edit: added one more variant Hardlet. Sounds like hardware, wallet or applet.
