Using cash deposit on localbitcoins you can get bitcoins in under an hour if you are in the USA. If you use escrow there is very little chance of something going wrong and the rates are impressive (3-4% markup)

Here is a tutorial I found: http://themerkle.com/tutorials/how-to-get-bitcoins-in-under-an-hour/

If you plan to post more tutorials like this, consider making a thread that serves as a directory for all of them.

Cheers!

i dont think so you can buy bitcoins directly with blockchain.info, can you ? you can buy with coinbase which i do not like i do not like coinbase much because sometime they put hold on your account and ask for verification, localbitcoins is great for buying coins

Actually I do not remember it's coinbase or blockchain.info LOL but localbitcoins sellers also usually require some kinds of verification too

faucet is not a good way to earn anything at all. The amount of money you earn from faucets I think can't even pay for the electricity to keep you online to claim from those faucets. Just join a signature campaign or apply for a spot in captcha typing teams can make you even more! (letyouearn or bitcoinstriker leads these teams) (you can buy a software to run multiple ID if you work with letyouearn for $5 Grin which allows you to earn even more!)

You dont even get a penny from that. Not worth it for serious bitcoin users.

At least you can earn and learn when you are first time know about bitcoin & it's transaction.
Without faucet, IMO it's quite difficult to know how bitcoin's transaction work

I guess that is true. If a newbie really expressed interest in bitcoin I would give them a few more satoshis than those ad filled faucets.
