If you don't know, then assume it makes it so you access the onion/tor network through a 3rd party web-to-tor proxy service (onion.to) that is probably either run by the FBI/DEA - or collects your login info, or spoofs websites - for profit.

It removes the need for TOR, but also causes you to no longer be fully anonymous.

Don't do it if you actually buy or sell on the site. Or actually, don't use it at all unless you're only visiting sites with no illegal content.. But yea, good luck finding those.

check the silkroad reddit for the real URL..  anyone saying it's changed is probably lying/scamming.

I'm saying I typed in silkroad on google and it gave me that address the I typed that address into my torbrowser, not attempting to make everyone not anonymous
