How would you guys react if you guys lost 10, 000 bitcoin?

The number is just so hard to realize for me, so maybe I can think of 10 or 100 BTC...hehe. It would definitely suck for many months but I don't think I would get too depressed unless that was all I had, as in savings. I have much less than 1 BTC right now and to me that's a treasure even if it's nothing in real life but if I lose it I would feel the same way as losing a huge amount of money really. Life won't change unless it's your whole savings or bankroll.

That's a really huge number of bitcoins to lose. I don't think I'll ever be lucky enough to own that many bitcoins.
If I did lose such a huge amount I would cry myself to sleep and hoping to never wake up. Something must have been gone horribly wrong in order for this to have happened.

now its very hard to tell what i would do if i loose so much bitcoins, first of all i would surely try to recover it somehow in any possible ways that i could think of, secondly, if i wouldnt be able to recover it i would try to forget about such thing as soon as possible as i would be very nervous

Even that can be a lot of money for a person.It always depends on your personal situation, where you live, how costly life is, how much income you have etc. So saying this is not bad, might fit for you, but I guess there we have a lot of guys here in this forum for whom $5k or 10BTC is a lot of money!!

And you accidentally show us how to lost any amount of bitcoin. You just have to made mistake when you are sending them.
Add one zero here, substract one zero there and your transaction can be totally different.

Personally I would consider commuting suicide if I accidentally lost 1kk bitcoins. There is no going back from that situation.

Yes, 1 000 000 BTC is just impossible if you weren't one of the early miners.
Let's say 1 000 000 $ worth of BTC. Difficult to say. I would kick my ass hard but would continue to live 

First of all the person who will keep 1000000 BTC with him must be smart and should secure his money in a very tight security. In this world anything can happen through cheating and robbery. So need to be very careful. So its impossible for us asking about so big amount and losing it. We will cry for a 100bitcoins also.

If you were a multi-millionaire, 10,000BTC would definitely hurt (worth $4M+), much less 10,000,000BTC.

Same here but that is not the solution to the problem, the solution is we need to know that how we lost that huge amount of bitcoins from our wallet and we should take care that we don't repeat that mistake again in the future, as if this is the case with me I won't leave that person who stole my bitcoins and I would surely find him take an legal action against him, but as it is said that prevention is always better the cure.

Yeah, this is the first thing I thought of when I saw this topic.  I don't even want to think about what I'd do, because I can't stand maggots and flies, but I'd want that hard drive back.

lost of 10,000 Bitcoin will be very painful, and I think the pain will increase if we lose bitcoi such a way that no reasonable or ridiculous, for example, when I lost bitcoin such as gambling, I would regret it, but not too bad, because I know it is part from my mistakes, but if I lose bitcoin as hacked or something, I would be very sorry, and maybe I will retire from bitcoin.

It all depends on how much % i would have lost of my money.
I invested just a part of my money into BTC, the parts that i can miss without it hurting me so in the end i'll be ok but still it would hurt, nobody likes to loose money.

Sure the amount in % vs your toal amoujnt of money is important.
But let's be fair too. Nobody like slosing money.. ever. Even an millionare won't like it when he loses 10 bitcoin. Even if is 0.1% of his net worth.
