It didn't cost anything at the time of mining such coins so that could be the only non-negative thing he could think off but still..

I will cry, I think. Or maybe I will stop forever with Bitcoin. But I dont think that will happen to me. Because I dont have that much.
And it cost a really long time to have so much coins. I f I have so much coins I will store it safely and dont give out.

Every loss hurt, some hurt more some less. For me it make no sense to think about such possibility to lost that much.
First what I would need ask how much I had before. If I lost all I had then I will be sad a lot  Wink

There is no amount of money, that is worth getting mentall illness. So I guess, that I'd try to forget about it or resign myself to this loss. Untill I have job that I am satisfied with, it would be a bit easier I think Wink

I would go mad. This amount of money is a lot. Most of us will never posses such a fortune. So yes guess how we would react..

It won't happen, if such situation occurs. Need to try identifying the loop hole that caused the great loss. Also will do try to create a solution to fix it.

Uow man, loosing 10,000 BTC would destroy me.  I am assuming that if I have 10,000 in BTC, I am hoping that i would have more than that in other currency, to stop the bleeding, but I think I would be lost.

No chance in hell that could happen to me. The reasons are multiple, and (I will not say that I could never have that much money) :
1. I would never keep so big amounts all in one place. There are paper wallets, there are various online and offline wallets, I would use them all.
2. I would surely have some good amounts on various sites, especially exchanges (speculation or lending), to make me some more money. It's a shame to keep all the money just sit.
3. I would keep some big amounts in altcoins too. In the way Bitcoin jumped ... quite high, some have potential to do so.

As a conclusion, even if I'd have 500M BTC (!!) in total, the chance to lose 1M in one event would be slim.
What I would do? At that magnitude, I may be a little sad, but I'd just continue using the other (499M) BTC to recover my loss.

I'm happy to know that i will never lost 10.000 bitcoins. This isn't because i have a good security system to secure them, its because i will never have this big amount of money. I suppose that he could loose this amount because he bought or minned this amount of bitcoin when bitcoin prices were too low, if not he would take care of its bitcoins.

Yeah, no one can lose such an amount easily, as there are two type of people some are those who don’t have that amount and so impossible to get from them, and the others are those who have that amount but they have their best security system for it. The chances to steal from them are also less.

I know that the transactions are irreversible. So you are telling me that I can say goodbye to my more than 11 monthly salaries, that is a nightmare for me??? My account was hacked, I lost 16,5 BTC and a company like BLOCKCHAIN is not going to help me in a any way?Huh

I did not follow this huge wall of text, however, this caught my eye.

First of all, from what I know, Blockchain is made in a way they cannot access anything of your data, since they'd need your password.
So it's you that got hacked, not them.
This being said, they just cannot help.

I may be wrong, since I don't use blockchain. I actually store only tiny amounts on web wallets exactly because of this.

Now, this was quite an expensive lesson, but next time try to read more about the safety of your money.
I advice you make some (more than one!) paper wallets in very safe environment (preferably a virtual machine not connected to internet which you'll delete after this process), then start using them to store your wealth.
You will be always able to check the amounts on them without using the private keys. The private keys will stay on paper and/or in some files you'll encrypt very good and keep on a couple of USB sticks.

I will cry for a long time. But I dont think that will happen to me. I play smart and I invest only with small amount.
I hope later that the value will rise up later. People are now very negative about the value now. And if it is more worth then we can sell it with profit.

I'm not really sure what I would do if I lost 10k Bitcoin overnight... I do not even have 1k Bitcoin. Tongue
Well, I'd probably tried to get the 10k Bitcoin back (which is nearly impossible). I probably will do a daily backup of my wallet on an offline computer if necessary to prevent this from happening in the future.

Life sucks.
