When things look too good to be true they probably are... too good to be true.
I'll repeat it again. The protocol does not scale to adoption levels that would have this price sustainable.  Until that big issue is solved all higher values of bitcoin are a dangerous area to invest.

The higher they climb, the harder they fall. Specially when you're climbing on a broken foundation!

the today limit of the block can still easily sustain a 1k price per bitcoin, 230 was very underwhelmed even for 1mb per block

i may agree that it will hinder adoption when we face the 1k-10k range, but at that point something will be done

and anyway the price here is increasing without actually a tangible increase on the adoption

OK, but then how did the protocol manage to sustain $1,200 back in Nov-Dec 2013?

No, its a Kwuk-Wank-Rant.

The usual baseless unproven claims made in a "factual tone"
"The protocol does not scale to adoption levels that would have this price sustainable"

Really ?  By what Metrics Kwuk ?   How do you measure "adoption"  ?   What is your adoption/price scaling factor ?
Or is that just another of your completely-invented but meaningless jargon stock phrases that I have not seen before ?

And you've already shown us you know more about proctology than protocols
Which suits the usual talking-out-of-your-arse flavour of your posts nicely.

"Too Good to be true, Higher they climb, harder they fall" etc blah blah.
what is this, Grandma warning us of the perils of sin ?
Whats next ?  "It will all end in Tears, I know it will !" ?

Do us a favour, *stop* repeating it, we've all heard your verbal diarrhea  so many times its *boring
Do you really think anyone is taking your dire-warnings and blather seriously ?

I am pretty sure you thought the same two years ago when we went all the way up to $1,100. We had rises like this as well throughout all month November and we have still reached at the moment high of that period.

I don't know, but this is not slowing down. It keeps running through everything and it seems to me that it won't stop at $500.

And the block size increase will be solved, don't worry about it!

The Chinese government helped stop the last rally when they forbade banks from sending money to exchanges. They have changed their policy, and allowed sending money to exchanges. As the Chinese Bitcoin market is arguably the biggest in the world the floodgates are open, and the Chinese can put their weight behind the price. I don't think this will slow down until over 1k.

This is gold. Way to go, kwuckduck!  Cheesy

You forget plenty  Grin

Let's wait and see where this goes alright? There's no reason for the price to be this high at the moment, adoption is too small and there are plenty of technical issues we have to overcome before bitcoin can really grow.

I've heard it before i think, let's review...

As a store of value only, a digital gold, it scales fine. Hopefully it can be more than that, but that alone can still be a big thing.

Your answer seems to be most reasonable for me than whatever i have found searching about the reason why bitcoin is climbing in price madly. I was also thinking to sell all of my coin when it hit 500 mark but now i will wait untill it will be over 1k.
