Are you sure the price of the bitcoin will rise above $500?
How about tomorrow? I know some people holding a bitcoin expecting more and some people have greedy attitude  but we dont know the fluctuate of price of bitcoin.
If we don't exchange our bitcoin today tomorrow the price of the bitcoin will be down like a meteor.(its just a professed or example)
What happen to the next? regrets?

Good point. The price may rise higher than you think, when it slowly increases - instead of a price boom to 1000$, where most people will sell their bitcoins and the price will drop to nothing.

On bitstamp it did, but on btc-e it stopped at about 460$, so i'm guessing op uses them, who seam to always have a bit lower rate and are lagging behind other exchanges.
tbh there wasn't real volume in support for 500$ prices, and rare are the ones that managed to sell at that price, for now atleast.

Yeah i know that the price earlier rise above $500 but now the price of the bitcoin back to the $475-$480. we dont know the running price of bitcoin and theres no assurance.

Frankly nobody knows how high will BTC rise..

But I believe it will pass atleast 1200 USD in a few weeks...

Ofcourse we have to accept the ups and downs..

You never know. This is trading. if it would be so easy it wouldn't be called trading.

We could very well be at the top right now and see a big correction for some reason by tomorrow or just go further up.

But Prabolic fomo moves have a high risk to correct rapidly as well. Just like the move from 1200$ corrected massively.

Looks like too many of these threads popping today. We already hit over 500 today, and yes we can certainly rise, but its like a milestone reached, so it will take a few days more probably to go over. But its not certain. Can fall too.

I feel for you man, bitcoin owed me above $500 at one point. Luckily I carried on offering services and buying at $200-$240 which scraped me into profit for the first time in 2 years

OP no I'm not sure it will raise much more so I sold part of my coins earlier today. You are right about people holding with greedy attitude that is why they will hold all the way up then all the way down again. I will have no regrets whereever it goes from here.

Definitely possible, just go to google and search bitcoins, you will see a few news about bitcoin popping out from 1-3 days ago, at least in my country, Spain, there are a few news talking about bitcoin in a positive way. With all the hype and the support from the media it's obvious that bitcoin will stay high.

I think we'll hit it another time or two, but I'm not sure if it will be able to stay above it for long.  There's a huge mental block associated with buying right at 500, and many people that missed out on the boat when we hit 1k+ will look at it as a chance to get out. 

On the other hand, if we can bust through it and keep going it's green candles for days

Are there more people aware of Bitcoin today than back in 2013? Those who bought before and sold for a loss are obviously willing to take investment risks, there's no reason they won't buy back in the face of opportunity, especially having seen the potential upside at a time when with even greater levels of FUD than today...

Those who bought and held are simply going to buy more, and miners are going to be more inclined to wait until the last minute before selling...

Bitcoin has survived two additional years, the perception of a potential for a complete collapse is diminishing as Bitcoin ages and weathers more storms...

See that's exactly what i say yesterday..If you sure that the price will pump up and will rise above $500 stay your coin into your wallet but for me yesterday i exchange all my bitcoin to real money.... the update of bitcoin price is $373 according to bitstamp.
