Armory offline is probably the most secure wallet, but it might not be what you need for accepting payments.

The wallet you use will depend on your own personal needs. Do you want to run a full node or will a 'light wallet' suit your purposes better, which operating system are you using, do need a mobile app that goes with the wallet or a wallet that also works on a mobile device etc...etc...

For starters I would suggest that you have a look at this site https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet It provides a nice short overview of each wallet and also provides some information as to each ones security.

I will suggest Mycelium Android bitcoin wallet . It is the most convenient and comfortable bitcoin wallet I have found to use it.

You don't have to use one wallet. Use a few and spread your risk. A hardware wallet and a good desktop client is a good start. There are some hardware wallets which do not need a computer to send transactions, some has global mobile internet connection included.

Paper wallets and hardware wallets (Trezor) are most secure.

After this it comes Bitcoin Core of course but it's tricky to use because you have to download whole blockchain.

After this comes Electrum or Multibit. They are very secure and easy to use and I suggest one of these two.

Whatever you do, stay away from online wallets.

I have come to start using multibit recently, and I am glad to see others also recommend it.

Pretty secure in my opinion with their backups, passphrases and all, but maybe a bigger thing is needed if you are going to hold high amount of btc.

it's not the wallet, in most of the time it's you, and your desktop, don't download crap and don't surf on shady exchange and all wallet are secure

i waould avoid spv, in the past they had problem

Mycelium is the most secure webwallet to me. It has private key access so that is important to recover your coins incase of a crash in the app or computer.

I could advise you to use the just released bitcoin debit card. Since it is Visa branded, I do believe that its security has been put into the right path. Visa is a brand for very many debit cards today and through the experience, I believe that they are doing a great job. However, you should not restrict yourself to that particular option. There are always very many option and all you need to do is have enough research about the wallet. This information can be found through the reviews and comments that are usually available online. From that content, you will be able to find the best option for your coins. Be on the look out that you wont be conned.

What debit card are you talking about? There are many Bitcoin debit cards. Some of them will take directly from the balance you deposited into whatever online service it is from while others you need to load by sending some amount of Bitcoin to a specific address.

I think the wallet with the highest security is Bitcoin Armory with the cold storage 2-pc setup. I don't particularly trust hardware wallets like Trezor since you can't know for sure if the hardware maker somehow put in a backdoor. Paper wallets are also a good option for securely storing Bitcoin for a long time.

If you are trader you probably want to use couple wallets. 1. For accepting and dealing with your transaction and 2. for keeping big amount of BTC you are no using at this moment.
For dealing with daily transaction probably any desktop wallet (recommended by bitcoin.org) will do. You can put password on any of them if necessary.
You need to know if you want to deal with whole block chain download or you are fine with simple validation wallet without locally stored block chain.
