I would like to put my BTC to use and spend some of it. As a long term holder, I tend to just hold, because I value fiat less than BTC, so I buy whatever I want with money. But the point is, it seems more convenient to use my BTC for digital stuff like games. The problem is, I cant trust serial keys outside steam, but Steam doesn't accept BTC...
How to go around this?

The simple answer is:
You just buy Steam keys outside of Steam, because there are enough trustworthy vendors out there.

Try steambitshop -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=468366.0

I bought several games from them and never had any issues. You get the game as gift via steam a few minutes after ordering. The mail address for the notification must not be the one you use for steam. In one instance it took a few hours, but it was shown as such on the homepage. IIRC it was a rarely bought or expensive game that was not in stock. All steam bonuses (mid week, etc.) also apply.

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

Steam is really secure service. Just make sure you get a proper key. I had miss entered my key several times when I last used it 5 years ago and got my account locked.

You just need to find the most trustworthy place you can. There isn't really any properly secure way to avoid getting scammed here as any site could decide to scam you, but I doubt that the most trusted sites will decide to randomly scam you for the cost of one measly steam game.

There are a lot of people selling game keys outside of steam. You just have to find the ones that are trustworthy and have good prices. I personally but CS:GO keys from people on BitcoinTalk and I have not been scammed once.

Hey, there's a first for everything! Wink Nah, I'm only joking. You do have to be careful here though, Valve/Steam has stated many times that they won't reverse the trade if you do get scammed if you're selling for bitcoin, and if you're buying you could just as easily get scammed due to the non-reversible nature of it. Basically, if you're going first, there's always a possibility that you're going to get scammed here, even if the person or website you trade with is trusted.

Oh yes, g2a is amazing for this stuff, though you should always purchase buyers protection unless you're really cheap and buying from a really trusted vendor Wink It's usually less than a dollar for buyer's protection and that's quite cheap to ensure that you don't get scammed, they're really cheap anyway.

I sually use Codashop to buy Steam Wallet, I don't know is this available with your country.
But this site is %100 trustable Grin
www.codashop.com

But if you want to just buy the game, you can visit https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=740844.0
But, as you know the price is higher that the normal price on Steam.

Since SteamBitShop has already been mentioned above the other useful and trusthworthy Steam game purchase shop I found was eternalsummersale - https://eternalsummersale.com/

The usually provide some popular steam games for a hefty discount. I remember purchasing Batman Arkham City from them quickly and easily.

Is the Bitcoin payment region specific? I see no Bitcoin payment option for the United States... not even under other payments. This is what the support says :

What payment methods (forms of payment) are available?
At G2A Marketplace, we offer you a wide selection of payment methods including: Credit/Debit Card, PayPal, Paysafecard, Ukash, Skrill, WebMoney or CashU. Also note the brand new highlight – G2A Pay! With G2A Pay you have an exceptional choice of payment methods from all around the world, convenient G2A Shield subscription option and many more features!

I am not sure, if they still accept Bitcoin as a payment option.  Huh

You should operate under the assumption that whoever you're doing business with is going to scam you if given the proper opportunity. What I would suggest if moving forward with this in mind and always using escrow, or securing your transactions to the fullest extent possible. There is never a fool-proof method to avoid being scammed and when you're purchasing off-market goods/services there's always the high-chance you're dealing with a shady individual.

The only tried and true method to use your bitcoin to purchase any steam games without getting scammed is :

Exchange your BTC for Fiat via a trusted exchange service and then purchasing the games directly from steam, while securing your steam account as fully as possible.

Apparently you're supposed to be able to see it when you go to pay under the G2A Pay option, I don't see it on the homepage itself or the FAQ either. If someone could test that and find out whether it does show up or not that would be useful Smiley There are plenty of g2a alternatives that accept Bitcoin, though. Green Man Gaming and GamesPlanet have accepted it for a while and they're legit.
