i had cxd 203
i got my cns 206 in august

That's just a course.  You have to complete a number of them to earn your Citrix certification.  

But it's a good first step!

citrix has nothing to do with cisco
those are the correct names of the courses/certificates you dont need other pre-reqs
its just that you can get cisco certified (ccna) for 2 grand
just 1 citrix course is 5
there is google you know.
