November 5th just passed and most of us know that it was Guy Fawkes Day. The ‘guy’ who almost bombed the English parliament in the 16th century and died for it. While the day was originally commemorated in the United Kingdom for his failure to bomb the parliament and assassinate the king in the process, his mask now stands for something quite the opposite.

This is possibly one of the things holding it back from going mainstream. The revolutionary nature of Bitcoin place a negative label on the technology and many big industries shy

away from that, because governments and financial industries tend to push back when they are challenged. We do not need to be 100% disruptive and anti-establishment for us

to succeed. We should rather offer a viable alternative to what is on offer now. People will make up their own minds, once they see the difference. There is space for everyone in
