Hi everyone,

I'm looking for an Android phone with the following specs:

* Released in 2010 or 2011
* Supports Android 2.2 Froyo
* A screen resolution of 480x800 or greater.

If you have one, and are willing the sell, I'll need the following information:

1. Device quality (is there any damage?)
2. The version of Android that it's currently running
3. Do you have the power adapter? If so, what country are you in?
4. Are there any additional accessories that will come with the phone (SD card, box, etc)
5. The number of Bitcoins which you're willing to trade for.

Thanks,

Nick

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Carrier isn't important. I'm using the phone exclusively for software testing.

I'm in the US. So I need a power adapter that's compatible.

Power adapters shouldn't be much of a problem. I'm pretty certain more or less all Android devices can be charged over USB, and in case you need to charge it from the wall you should be able find a generic USB charger for about $10.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant, unlocked for ATT and Tmobile.  Runs 2.2, has an OLED screen, 1ghz CPU, 16gb internal storage.  Nice thing about it is that it is the same hardware as the Nexus S, the current "official" Google approved developer phone.

10 BTC shipped via priority mail?  Comes with USB cable, charger, and an 8 gb MicroSD, making the total capacity 24gb.

This is the type of phone I'm looking for. Smiley

However, 10 BTC seems a little high, given the current ASK on MtGox (31.7), and the crazy positive trend we've seen lately.

Would you accept 8 BTC? Also, would you mind using ClearCoin for escrow? If you can provide some verification of your identity through a PM, we can skip over escrow. So far, all the transactions I've done through this forum have been positive. I'd like to keep it that way.

Thanks.

8 BTC sounds good!  I do not mind using ClearCoin, but would rather do without it.  I don't mind verifying myself in public, so people can look back at my posts and see I am hiding nothing.

I am the owner of the ModRetro forums (forums.modretro.com), which have operated for 2 years, with over 2000 registered users.  My username is PalmerTech, you can PM me there if you want to verify I am the same person.  I am also on eBay under the username Luckey92, and have 100% feedback as a Paypal premiere member.

If you PM me your address, I think I can have it shipped out by tomorrow!

Post-buy recap:

Palmertech's admirable business manner is matched only by the punctuality with which he mails his parcels.  Grin

I sent him 8 BTC. He sent me a sweet Samsung Galaxy S.

Transaction successful. Would do business again.

Ah, this reminds of the good old days.  When I bought a used Android phone right here on Bitcoin Forum for 70 BTC.  Way back in March, 2011.

Nothing like a used $1400 cell phone!
