Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

...Their overhead costs must be enormous. Staff, IT, cards, logistics, security etc.

Are you sure about this? Most of these companies integrate solutions from other providers
(e.g. BitPay for top-ups) and just act as a white label for one of the dominating
card issuers.

I really think it is entirely possible to run a successful Bitcoin debit card provider with
a very small headcount.

Yeah, it is as you say. Take UQUID for example: they simply provide a platform and take in liability for their user content while at the same time interfacing with third parties to provide the card and card information. It is the card companies who have to build up all their infrastructure in order to support their service. They then make contracts with providers such as UQUID who get the cards to the users.

I don't see why any card would not work in adwords or bing. All I've tried worked with Paypal and all websites accepting VISA. Never had any problems. Perhaps give a try to one of the virtual ones and report back with results.

There are sometimes blocking vcc or banning i experience this in Cryptopay.me and wirex before they are not accepting..
After adding this card my account getting ban..  Hope someone can give me idea if what card would be working in bing or even in adwords.. that can deposit a small amount or even just $2 minimum.. thanks

I would not be adding random foreign cards to services or platforms managed by big companies such as Google who have more than the required technology to find out the source of these cards and who can research the real reasons why some might be getting them (anonymizing transactions and all). If you are running a legitimate business with Adwords/Bing, you should be using all your real information to prevent any bans and to be able to properly appeal in the case that you wrongly get banned or otherwise get denied their service.

If that's the case then I don't think that this is a risk worth taking. It's easy to know the issuing bank from the bin of a cc number.  Gibraltar (most Bitcoin debit cards) probably wouldn't be ok for Bing.

Is there any card that can withdraw directly from Bitcoin balance instead of loading the card before hand?

I am My bitcoins will stay in there wallet and it will only use whenever I use the card and automatically deduct and calculate?

Because in all other cards, you will need convert your btc to local currency and load your card before use.

Thanks

I believe the old cards don't allow that, only the new ones such as Monaco, TenX and Centra does that. (some of them are not available yet).

Some of these projects are probably vaporware.
The market of bitcoin debit cards was pretty saturated before 2017.

Suddenly ICOs raise a ton of money and out of nothing several projects like
Monaco, TenX and so on appear. I´m not saying that all of them are shady and
will never deliver a product, but I find the timing pretty suspicious.

Therefore I recommend going with one of the established debit card providers.

I think you are very much right. Cards backed by investment offer nothing new aside of turning investor money into rewards. This could be very well classified as a ponzi scheme. Those schemes could certainly fade away in time.

I mostly agree. One that is different, however, is UQUID. They had a working service far before they announced that they were going to do an ICO. I personally used their card for quite a bit. The strange thing with them was that when their contract with their card provider ran out, they did not ever fix it and instead announced the ICO while their service was down. Furthermore, recently they screwed over anyone who had a card who is outside of the European Union. Now those outside are not even able to access the website due to geo-location blocking on their firewall. Hence, everyone who had a card with them before that isn't inside the EU now is screwed out of what they used to have.

Also XAPO does exactly this! Your balance always remains in BTC and you use your card using your BTC balance

Unfortunately it will on work in Europe only from October 16 Sad

Didn't XAPO have FIAT balances? I had never used their card service but I don't  see why they wouldn't allow the card to be used with the FIAT balances.

On a slightly related note, they've started locking accounts without document verification.

On a slightly related note, they've started locking accounts without document verification.

If I remember correctly, before they started restricting countries a couple of years back, they allowed bitcoin to be exchange at the point of sale. That means that the conversion happens at the moment that the transaction you are doing gets processed by the network. This can be either good or bad depending on the direction of Bitcoin value at the time, but I would still recommend staying with providers that let you manage conversion yourself. This way you won't be mistakenly converting currencies at an unfavorable rate.

Unfavorable rates are a whole other topic of discussion. Many providers claiming to have zero fees hide their tariffs in exchange rates that have a diversion from actual live market ones by as much as 5%. I've been warning people about this as a hidden fee trick. Big providers like Wirex do it too.

Any solutions for us Non Eu citizens after Oct 15th?

Can you specify in which country you are based?

E.g. for citizens of the US, BitPay offers a card that is issued by the Metropolitan Commercial Bank.
https://bitpay.com/card

However, if you are based in the rest of the world you are only able to receive a debit card from BitPay that is
issued by Wave Crest Holdings. This is exactly the card issuer that has closed their service for people, who
don´t reside in Europe after the 15th October.
