Any solutions for us Non Eu citizens after Oct 15th?

Can you specify in which country you are based?

E.g. for citizens of the US, BitPay offers a card that is issued by the Metropolitan Commercial Bank.
https://bitpay.com/card

However, if you are based in the rest of the world you are only able to receive a debit card from BitPay that is
issued by Wave Crest Holdings. This is exactly the card issuer that has closed their service for people, who
don´t reside in Europe after the 15th October.

Things are getting tough for people outside of the EU from what it seems. I believe Coinbase's Shift card also continues to offer the card service to US citizens. But aside of BitPay and Shift there aren't many options. Perhap's Uphold's prepaid mastercard could also be an option for those in the US after virtual cards.

I've read some bad reviews on anxpro...Also I cant find how much they charge for a card anywhere on their site. I belive i did find a solution tho.

Uquid seems to have found another supplier besides wave crest.

I'm in Canada and watching this thread with interest as I lost access to cards I used and liked, both from Wavecrest Visa and from a Mastercard replacement that did not last long before it too was withdrawn from the market.

One reviewer gave Uquid a bad score for the broken English on their website. However, we know that a slick website does not guarantee a good company behind it. Uquid does not say who their new card provider is, perhaps that's smart business practice on their part. I'd guess that the other former Wavecrest-using companies would start using it too.

I was doing some due diligence on Anxpro and thought they handled themselves well on this bct thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=759952.0

I've seen some very trollish scam accusations for all the card providers. For example, one guy has been harassing cryptopay for weeks over a perceived loss of $2.50. Takes all kinds, but it's worth thinking about which complaints to take seriously.   Roll Eyes

I've heard good things about wagecan and mistertango as possible alternatives to the Wavecrest companies, but so far I'm still looking around for a Wavecrest replacement to use in Canada. The companies that used Wavecrest all say they are looking for a suitable replacement, but I think we've all learned not to risk a single point of failure for "next time".

From Canada here also (you in Toronto by chance?), cryptopay was my go to, I loved them. Yes they also sent me a mastercard only to have them say its also no longer  good. I've read wagecan can sometimes take days to load your card. I honestly think right now Ubuig might the only way to go. Cryptopay assures me they are working on a solution.

I loved Tronna when I lived there, long time ago though - go Leafs. Yes, cryptopay was/is very good to deal with. Their mastercard doesn't expire until December 5 if you were able to load it a while back. I hope they will find a replacement well before then. I'm inclined to have a few more cards now, just in case, but they'd be my first choice also. Oh, I wrote to Shakepay before the Wavecrest pullback, since Shakepay is in Canada, but I heard nothing back from them so did not apply for a card. They seemed promising, so perhaps they'll be a contender again.

TunerDude007, thanks for your answer. i´m verified with uquid, too. They could solve this issue about to offer your debit card to almost all countries even no european residents. but what i don´t like of them is that i´ve contact your chat via skype and it was true those reviews i read about they talk poor english. they don´t seem a pro team. so i don´t know what to do, yet.

It's not just Shakepay though. I'd like to see which specific article you're referring to  but I don't think that it's something new. Cryptocurrency news outlets are picking up the news as press releases on the matter were kinds delay by card issuers on purpose but we here in this thread had gotten wind of it as it was happening.

I have also opened the account with Anxpro and uploaded documents ten days ago. Still haven't received any update regarding the verification process and approval. And they claim to verify it in 2 days. Not impressed so far - still seeing the message:

"Your verification request has been received and is currently being processed. Once complete, you will be notified through email.
We aim to process verification requests within 2 working days of being received.

Interesting website, I'll be looking into it once I get the chance. I wasn't aware of it to be honest and what's odd is that it seems to be china based. Not often do we see Chinese services offering debit card products, I've actually not found one except this.

Great, Look into it.
Guys I have problem. I am in New Zealand and most of these services are not providing service in New Zealand. Do you know any?
Also any VCC with no verification needed?

I have signed up with a few but their rates or the way they deal is not very good. They charge on everything. For example on top of everything Cryptopay.me exchange bitcoin $400 $500 under the market price.. They trick people!!

There are at least two others, both operating out of Hong Kong - anxpro.com and wagecan.com

I have no opinion on their level of service but I've seen people comment about slow response times, possibly exacerbated by distance from North America.

Anxpro is a no no. Bad reviews and stories of card loads not being processed.

Wagecan is so so. Card works but system is a mismanaged and inconsistent one. I had the card and promptly closed it. Twice bitten, lesson learned. First time was their Transforex card in 2016 which worked well at ATMs and stores. But loading the card took ages. I mean forever. The icing of the already spoiled cake was my account having to be reverified despite passing full verification months earlier. I thought this was probably a once-off system glitch. But no... come 2017 and they have this Golden card. Same thing happened. Two months after full verification... reverify yourself. Submit docs and wait.

No real time loads. Be prepared to wait. You will need a PhD in Patience.
