Are there any current working cards for people outside the EU and USA?
Has anyone tried luxpin.co?

That's probably a website you need to stay away from. I can't find any info regarding them and even the website looks very unprofessional and incomplete (no fees, team behind the project, etc.). Try to take a look at Paycent.com

Stay away. The travelers are the target and I have never read positive feedback from their social media accounts. Crypterium, Paycent, Crypto(.com) projects can do a job AFAIK. The Paycent, Crypterium have lower withdrawal fees and both cards are linked to UnionPay. Never used the Crypto.com card.

Additionally, you can also try checking out Cryptopay[1]. Users of it has a decent feedback about it though I wouldn't put too much trust on online feedback but it is a great start to dig information about it. Please bear in mind that they have a very strict verification process and their decline rate for identification documents are very high (maybe because many people are submitting fake documents to their Compliance team).

Let me refresh this topic, because the situation has definitely changed ...

As far as I know, Cryptopay.me has introduced cards for Russia and is working on launching cards for the European Union. Unfortunately, their development have quite looong delay and my patience is over, thats why my question:

What Bitcoin (or other crypto) debit cards do you use in the European Union in EUR?

Still Wirex and Coinbase mainly.

Crypto.com announced today that they're launching cards for Europe - https://blog.crypto.com/app-update-eu-uk-address-verification-now-open/

I haven't used them for other purposes but their app is pretty slick. I'm finding Wirex a pain with its sluggish app so might give it a try.

I don't know why, but I don't trust Wirex ..

I have a Coinbase account for a long time, so I just ordered a card from them. I will give them a try. Should arrive up to 7 days. If it works like online account, then I should be fine.. well, maybe not about the fees. Wink

Except for the Bitpay and Crrytopay, is there an alternative working debit card for the rest of the world? IIRC, only Paycent and Crypterium have the worldwide crypto debit card but fees are terrible compared to Wirex, Crytpopay.

There are only two cards for U.S citizens. BitPay and Monaco, so there isn't much to choose from.

The main difference between the two cards is that Bitpay's support BTC only while MCO card supports many currencies (both fiat/crypto) and you can also stake their own token.

Admittedly, EU residents have much more options in this regard.  To the well known Wirex and  Plutus has recently accended  Eidoo -https://cointelegraph.com/news/visa-approves-new-defi-enabled-crypto-card-in-eu-and-uk ( their issued card is backed up by Visa) from Swiss

They are using Contis which is the same provider that Wirex uses.

and that's aside from all the stuff issued by the global crypto platforms.  Should it be regarded as the sign that EU is  ready to speak for cryptocurrency first?

I wouldn't say so because at the end of the day, debit cards defeats the whole purpose of using BTC (high fees, KYC, etc.)

I made a discussion topic about the card (I'll add more info about the limits and fees once Eidoo release them): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=223.0

Hello,

I hope you are well.

I was wondering if anyone knew a company that issued an actual debit card please? (Verified using the BIN)

I am based in the UK.

Any help would be great.

P.S. Apologies for posting in this thread but I thought it would be most relevant, rather than create a new thread.

Thank you

Have you checked out Revolut? I've seen that it works in Europe, and they offer both a virtual card and a physical one. The physical card issuing costs approximately 10 euros, if I remember correctly, and is delivered to your house within a week. I'm using it myself and never had any issue.

Hey Ultegra134,

I have, but they currently do not allow BTC to be transferred from external wallets.

Coinbase allows it however their debit card is classified as a credit card when checking the BIN.

Thank you

I've only used them for euro transfers, I know you can purchase BTC through them though. If what you're saying is true, you'll have to transfer to an exchange and then withdraw to Revolut, it's too much of a hassle. Have you tried the Binance debit card? What exactly do you want to use it for, I haven't really understood what you're aiming for.

Some companies restrict purchases to debit cards only, Coinbase would have been perfect since I transfer BTC from my external wallet to it, but as previously mentioned their BIN shows as credit card.

I have joined AdvancedCash and their card is showing as debit card on their BIN. Will check to see if its worthwhile (cost wise) or to just use an exchange / localbitcoins

Thanks!
