What makes you think the ASICs won't be released? I think they make take a little longer to send out at the very most, but butterflylabs has pulled through in the past.
When in past BFL released ASIC products? FPGAs are totally different devices in terms of development complexity, development cost and development times.
I don't quite understand their logic with releasing a unit for $700 that performs better than their $15,000 rig.

Do You know some ASIC capable company that is run by well known and reputable people and who do things in transparent way and not giving false promises? BFL is not such company, others seem very shady as well.

I doubt that BFL is making ASIC chips at all. I suspect them to be a con scam scheme establishing trust with easy to make FPGAs and then taking preorders and buybacks for new devices and disappearing. If they are making the chips they should have at least credible prototype videos and information that can lift all doubts about them.
