The question is a bit subjective. I think the use should depend more on how much you trust the Blockchain Technology. If you can trust in a technology backed by math and cryptography, then I think you can certainly trust Bitcoin.
First you need to understand it, of course. The basic concepts behind this are easy to understand, in my opinion, but to have a deeper knowledge you will need to put a greater effort into it.

It depends on how risk adverse you are. If you can stand to lose half that money, then invest half in btc. If you would be destroyed if you lost the money, don't invest it. The old adage of don't invest more than you can afford to lose but I say even with the bad actors running rampant btc will continue. Why do you ask us? Have you not made up your mind already?

i am agree, many people now realize that bitcoin is worth to be an investment especially for now the bitcoin price is increase so high depend on the last year. i hope that the price is not going down like in early 2016 and only increase.

Even before when the price of bitcoin is not that big as today, it is already a good investment. What we are seeing as an investor is the potential of bitcoin and that potential to grow has just realize now as we can see in our very eyes. If we have bought bitcoin when the price is still $200, we could be rich now.

We take risk for the uncertain future but that must be back with careful analysis using relevant data.

There is no guarantee in every thing you believe,no one will suggest you how long bitcoin will sustain but as of now many people a good hope on bitcoin and many people are still investing into it. Daily many countries are showing interest towards bitcoin technology, but now it is not the right time to invest in bitcoin.

Well that's saying a lot about your trust in bitcoin. And if you're lucky, and if the rate of bitcoin's rise is sustained then I think that would be attainable. It's just that it's too much of a risk for most people to take. I personally believe in bitcoin but to place that much amount would be beyond me especially that I have a lot of mouths to feed.

Him being 50% invested in Bitcoin doesn't mean he has invested 50% of his entire wealth into Bitcoin. It's just 50% of his investment balance. Not that big of a deal.

And yes, those that are finding their way to Bitcoin right now enter the market at way higher prices than people that have been here for a year or so.

But that's not really a problem since Bitcoin has far more potential growth to realize than it has done already. If Bitcoin really lives up to what is expected to happen, then current prices are nothing more than peanuts.
