The problem is that quite a few posts ago, there was another update (but not first post) which stated that some work was cleared due to inactivity. Then, some people started to claim from that point on. Unfortunately, I was too late :/

I've been thinking about another project and I'm curious if there's any interest and potential rates...


I have several hours of audio recordings in English split into files approximately an hour each, would anyone be interested in making a time-stamped transcript using something like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LRC_(file_format) and if so, what rate?

Fixed your link for you.   I would do a couple hours worth of this dictation type project if you like, Ive been typing my whole life and initially started on machine programming with this kind of numbering at start of each line of code so I suppose that would be just fine.
Problem with audio would be its a fixed length to listen to it, where as the PDF allowed some to go faster then others.   0.025btc per file would fit I think if its an hour or so to do each.    Is there alot of big words in this project, as this will pose a problem for some more then others.  In theory a computer could also 'OCR' this but I doubt it'd be that perfect

Hello I can do the listening and typing work, price I guess should be according to file, like I checked the link you gave and the first audio is some 1 hour and 6 mins long, so I guess 8$ each 1 hour is a genuine price

Please let me know if agreed, i am right here to work, please also suggest a price in case you think 8$ is bit high or too high

Yea, this work is certainly more difficult than the retyping task although from my cursory looking there is software to assist with this by varying the playback speeds or inserting timestamps automatically.
