I spend a lot of bitcoins these days because there are also more buy able these days, look at the stores there are coming a few more everyday.
I mostly buy digital goods but sometimes also clothes and I must say its pretty nice and easy to pay with it, spending is one of the best things you can do with the bitcoin.
I think today is probably only a small percentage of people using bitcoin to shop. most of them convert it to fiat.
I think if more stores that accept bitcoin as a payment option. it will be more and more users who spend bitcoin to shopping or etc
Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

I often see people spend bitcoin for top up the phone, I think it's because that's all you can do to spend bitcoin
because in fact still a few stores who accept bitcoin, so I more often see people using bitcoin for top up their mobile phones

Currently in PH, one of the local exchanges here has a mobile prepaid load service that's why reloading phone's credit is just one click away.

If there's no exchanges here who opened that kind of services, then converting to fiat is only the option.

No I do not spend a lot of bitcoins these days because of the future the bitcoin itself has, I hope the bitcoin will go to a high amount so I stay holding them and not spend them at all.
I think its just to now hold them just for a short term because its just a matter of time.
for now I would agree to hold bitcoin because of price or rate bitcoin is still too small so when you're using bitcoin to shop. or spend bitocin. surely you will be more costly provider payment. if rate bitcoin rose. surely you will pay less.
so I think it is not the time to spend bitocin Cheesy

Around this time it is not good to not spend your Bitcoins, because you can have a higher value later in the future and that will be nice for all of us.
If you are using Bitcoins now you can trade it or gamble if you want to make some profit around this time, because trading is also very good to make profit.

The most people are holding for a price increase so they can sell their Bitcoins with a huge profit.

I only have spend some Bitcoins on some online gambling sites. There are not many websites that except Bitcoins so I don't really have a choice. But this helps me saving my Bitcoins.

it's bad way to spend your bitcoin, i think better to spend it for buying something like top up number mobile, or pay electric fee etc.

Bitcoin used as another means of currency. I do that too but I still do the exchange thing that is just on your mind. Converting it still as dollars they say that is bad because you will feel that it is more expensive in that way.

Don't spend your bitcoin now even on top up, just hold it for next couple of months, and spend when price would go higher, and even if price would be higher I would prefer it to convert it fiat and then spend.

If ever I have lots of earnings for bitcoin I would definitely spend my bitcoins but this is for basic needs that I am actually looking forward to it. I am having some difficulties at home for food supply so I would definitely use them for basic needs..

That would be the best to use it for basic needs, but looking at present scenario I think it will take a very long time that we can use it for buying day to day stuffs.
Yes that's why most of the time nag iipon lang ako and keep posting para naman mas malaki ang maipon ako. Kasi this is the only that I can help more para sa parents ko. As usual this is only for the basic needs of the family..

'Spend it when the price go higher'.

Would you mind tell me what is the right price to be considered as 'higher price'?

About the last part of your post, I agree to that honestly compare to bitcoin direct payment.

I am spending it online for online transfer and sometimes on gambling, as I am trying to multiply my coins with gambling so if I win I can hold more number of coins at the time of halving.

for the few places that do accept bitcoin, do you currently spend the coins you hold at any of them?

I know places like www.takeaway.com accept bitcoin and i even heard CEX.co.uk accept bitcoin in stores now too, but does anyone spend the bitcoins they have or do most just onto hold them? (Or gamble them lol)

I wonder if there will ever be any retailers that only accept bitcoin.

i can't say that i very spend them, but i also can't say that i don't spend them at all, because usually i just spend them once or twice a month, to pay for something small, but i am sure that others spends it more than i do,  because if there would be no bitcoin users at all, no stores would accept bitcoin as payment, while they do that now!
