I think most people are seeing bitcoin only as an investment option which is why many replies in this thread says that they don't spend their bitcoins and are saving it for a price increase, which is fine but they don't realize, if they use it wherever they possibly can then that will increase the price much faster.

So buy, save, spend and buy again.

Exactly, there should be a movement in bitcoins, it is useless to hold bitcoins without using it and only hoping that price will reach moon and that would be the right time to sell, if there is a rotation in bitcoins then price would be much higher and stable.

Agreed. It's economics. And as with any economic system things have to be in motion for the system to survive and thrive.

Yeah, and spending bitcoins on regular basis is the right thing to do, I keep on spending my bitcoins on daily basis, as I gamble everyday, not a big amount though, but I do gamble and sometimes I win and sometimes   I loose, but the percentage of loosing is more as compared to winning.

good! At least you can have some control of the gambling behavior. I gamble from time to time and use Bitcoin to buy things available to be paid in Bitcoin.

No, I have 2. And I'm safe to keep. I think it's a shame to go spend it now.
Because maybe I did later win it. So it is quiet for me to take the time.

Online shopping sites may vary to different countries, as for example here on the Philippines, there is a site called cashcashpinoy where we can shop some items and they accept bitcoins. You should try asking your fellow countrymen if there is such site exclusively for your country. On the other hand, you can try looking up some online shops that accepts btc payments here : http://www.thebitcoinpage.com/   It has a massive list and hope you can pick one to shop with Wink

Ever tried to purchase items from CashCashPinoy thru bitcoin? How about the transaction?

I regularly use CashCashPinoy in finding some great travel deals but I used fiat here.

I spend bitcoin sometimes when I see an item online that I would like to buy and is offered by a legitimate seller, other than that I mainly hold bitcoins as a form of investment.

You can use bitcoins in almost all places. It's just that you have to be smart about it. It's not that hard. Just use some common sense.

Even I was spending bitcoins lot before in buying gadgets through online, and make ticket in cheapair by using bitcoins.
But nowadays I am not using bitcoin at all in any purchase. Because I know after halving bitcoin to reach a big value. But fiat will not reach like that better we use fiat itself according to my knowledge.

I`d still consider using those bitcoins for daily use.

We all have different views on if it`ll hit a major big value of the halving, but the debate of on-going struggle. I cant read the future nor the other person, so just see the data as its presented. Big values need from bunch of buy orders, which is what youre expecting to see. Which I do too, but I dont think it`ll be anytime soon if youre expecting huge jumps.
