for the few places that do accept bitcoin, do you currently spend the coins you hold at any of them?

I know places like www.takeaway.com accept bitcoin and i even heard CEX.co.uk accept bitcoin in stores now too, but does anyone spend the bitcoins they have or do most just onto hold them? (Or gamble them lol)

I wonder if there will ever be any retailers that only accept bitcoin.

I actively spend my bitcoins on gambling. Well maybe it`s not a good thing, but I like to play. And like any other gambler sometimes I have some amount sometimes I`m on zero. Anyway it`s noting big for now I earn from campaign and some faucet`s and I gamble with that actively.

Some times I spend my bitcoin to do some online shopping. But that is just very small percentage of my total holding.

The times that I use bitcoin I make sure to refill my holdings at the end of the week or month. My goal is still to grow my total holdings, so when I spent, I want to make sure I end up with more eventually Smiley

Takes some dedication, but it gets you there!

Yes I am trying to pay with bitcoins everywhere they are accepted. Very often there are great discounts if you are paying via Bitcoin. Of course, when I buy something with btc I replenish my reserves on the exchanges. In a way I always have about the same number of coins.

This is my way of supporting Bitcoin community and boosting transaction numbers, etc..

There is nothing easier than spending coins on digital goods as servers, vps, hosting, domains, giftcards and so on. If I need one of these things I just listed, I always use Bitcoin to buy them.

I spend my Bitcoin and I use it to play poker. Most of my Bitcoin expenditures are for Amazon gift certificates. Most of my computers and all my mining equipment was bought with Bitcoin.

There are many services/merchants/shops accepting bitcoin right now, and the number is growing. The problem is that usually payment with bitcoin is not widely announced and are often hidden under debit/credit, paypal and bank transfer method of payment. Usually you can chose bitcoin payment only if you are finalizing your purchase.
