Yes,i always spend bitcoin in my everyday life. I top my phone using bitcoin.
Buying private vpns and a lot more, but im only spending my bitcoins when the price of it is high.

Im use my bitcoin for top up my number phone too, sometimes use spectro, or other trusted service.
hope someday in future i can buying anything use bitcoin.
yeah I also use bitcoin to buy something online. sometimes it helps me because I do not need a deposit from the bank to an online site. and it was very difficult you know
It's nice to know that there are those who regularly use bitcoin for their everyday transaction. It would surely help propagate bitcoin's wider acceptance and make it more popular among regular persons. Just like you, I also top up my phone's load credits with bitcoin.
My estimate is that the majority of spenders of bitcoins are those who are doing gambling, they can bet big amount of money with different gambling sites and that is the reason behind why bitcoins online gambling sites are exploding.

Yeah most of the users are buying bitcoin only for gambling purpose but its good that people are spending it on gambling as it helps in circulating bitcoins.
That would help so much to improve the bitcoin industry because gambling industry is very huge and some of the legitimate gambling sites are already adopting bitcoins to improve their market the same as their profit.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Yes and even if people are spending it only on gambling the primary goal of spending bitcoins is achieved and in future we will see many more sites that will start accepting bitcoin.

for the few places that do accept bitcoin, do you currently spend the coins you hold at any of them?

I know places like www.takeaway.com accept bitcoin and i even heard CEX.co.uk accept bitcoin in stores now too, but does anyone spend the bitcoins they have or do most just onto hold them? (Or gamble them lol)

I wonder if there will ever be any retailers that only accept bitcoin.

yes i spend my bitcoins actively because i think that if we wouldn't spend them at all, bitcoin would be dead pretty soon so i spend them pretty often actually

You're not alone because many people think that way too. They believe that if they store as much coin as they can, one day they will manage to have a big profit and might change their life for good.

its been spent regularly even today.  I buy digital services on fiverr. Smiley
BTC I think is designed to spend online so those guys paying for adverts and paying for their employees are definitely helping btc economy.
if its not spent regularly, the bitcoin economy would have failed.

I further agree that bitcoin is made to be spend not to be hoard.  Hoarding it may give holder a temporary profit but it will be disastrous in the long run.  So as part to take responsibility to make bitcoin economy healthy, i am regularly spending my BTC thru trading, monthly bills and other stuff that accept bitcoins.

If anything I plan on spending when it reaches at a higher value so I can get things to hedge back on if the price ever falls back down.

Lets say if the price does reach to closer to 1k marker - id buy something worth $1k in value to hold that position like physical gold.

I think to be able to shop you do not have to be rich dude although you only have a little money was enough to buy your purposes.
as long as you're smart in dividing your money. but if your money is very little then it is better not to force shopping

If you are not able to spend it actively at a moment then I think you should hold it for future as you will find many shops in future where you would be able to spend your coins.

I spend bitcoin daily on toping up my mobile balance. Apart from that i have started to use bitcoin as alternative to paypal to pay my hosting and domain cost these days.

Majority of users are spending their coins on mobile top ups as I dont' think there is any other place to spend bitcoins as the usage of bitcoin is limited at a moment.

Bitcoin isnt soo limited as you think, there are several services around bitcoin sure for those who wanna buy its hard, even when there are here trusted people who can sell almost anything for bitcoin. I had paid my domains at namecheap with bitcoins, for me as an online earner bitcoins is helping me a lot, and i can spend it online where i wanna.

Spending bitcoin online is not a big deal now as there are many places where you can spend it but the major issue is to spend it offline as there are many countries who are still not aware about it.

Bitcoin has a wall between costumers and merchants, and those wall are countries and their regulations, soo yes there are few companies that may accept bitcoin as payment, give time to time and more merchants will accept bitcoin as well the same way it happened online.

After collecting them, it will be better for you that you keep that bitcoins for some more time in your wallet as when the price of bitcoin will increase the value of bitcoin in your wallet will also increase and so you will be more wealthy.

Yes and even if people are spending it only on gambling the primary goal of spending bitcoins is achieved and in future we will see many more sites that will start accepting bitcoin.

Legit is good. But there are this people also that try to mimic it. Like how they are mimicking bitcoin now. A newbie creates a gambling website, tries to make it larger with a small capital for a campaign, getting large without a permit then finally escaping with all of the money invested.

That is just normal in the crypto world, we are all strangers here and the only thing that binds us is trust. Reputation is very important especially when we are running a business and as an investor we should invest only on reputable investments.

No I still save my bitcoin.  I view them more as a stock than I do as a currency currently.

Last month I'm still using my bitcoins actively but as of now I'm waiting for the price increase that is going to happen very soon.
Hopefully that is going to happen, that's why I'm just holding my bitcoins too and hoping for a good return.
Once it happen.
