Are we allowed to discuss MMM?

I understand that direct links aren't exactly welcome as the forum is being overwhelmed with outright spam promoting MMM however I think that MMM is a very interesting topic for discussion. Are we allowed to discuss it without linking to the website?

I'm interested on sharing some screenshots as well as videos of actual participants talking about it. Not for promotion of course but for an analysis about how I think their self proclamation of a "social virus" is very close to reality.

I don't see why it wouldn't be allowed in the Investor-Based Games, though I doubt it would be allowed anywhere else. You should probably put it there to be safe.

You think? I'm more interested on discussing what effect it has on bitcoin's economy as well as society. If posting about a pyramid means I should contain the post in a board where pyramids are also advertised I wouldn't mind but I don't think that's ideal as I have no intention to promote it.

Until you start shilling and posting the same thing over and over again to gain more members(which I don't think you're going to do) , you should be fine, the forum has freedom of speech last I checked. Anyway, posts from a Hero member might be reconsidered unlike newbies' posts of which the sole purpose is to make more people involved in the ponzi.
New thread in Speculation should be good, if you're talking about how much increase/decrease it may bring on bitcoin price, and you can create a thread in Bitcoin discussion if you are going through the effects it will have on HODLers and bitcoin users as a whole, trust and stuff.
Moderators are free to say otherwise though.

I'm more interested on discussing what effect it has on bitcoin's economy as well as society. 

It's quite difficult to quantify how much effect MMM China has had on the price of Bitcoin, there are many opinions but precious few facts.
I've attempted to find out through direct contact with exchanges and posting here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1238326.0 but no luck with actual figures.
There are quite a few vids of MMM participants talking about it on YouTube, several thousand.

Post about it by all means, but without quantifying the effect it will just be an opinion post, a magnet for sig spammers to rephrase the same thing many times, and of course MMMers to earn their 2.667% per task for their Mavro Extra.
