Just around 10 hours to go to buy tickets (or sponsor next round)  Grin

One more question for you RHavar, if I have a mobile wallet that I use for everyday transactions that can't sign messages, do I need to transfer funds to a wallet that can on desktop or can I just use that wallet? It seems using my current wallet is a problem mainly because I can't verify it throug a PGP signature, and just wanted to make sure this wouldn't cause problems before playing.

You can always use that wallet, you can use the forwarding address that does not require you to sign any message. It is much more easier and you can always send from any wallet but you do need to save the binding sign message provided in case of any dispute

AFAIK the stretched hash is

4a757418955d988f71eae90945e042827bc18faf048e278c7a08ae163e67ca5b

which makes the whale the winner. But let's wait for Ryan to confirm Smiley

Yup, thanks for running this. I got the same result. I'll make payment in the next ~12 hours, assuming no one disputes the result

Check out gamblingsitefinder.com for a decent list/rankings of crypto casinos. Note: I have no affiliation or interest in it, and don't even agree with all the rankings ... but it's the only uncorrupted review site I'm aware of.

Sorry about that, I've updated it now. Added some stuff so draw #6 should be much more automated

Just around ~4 hours (21 blocks) to go! Also thanks to betking.io and just-dice.com for sponsoring next round, it looks like it'll have some good early bird bonuses! So get in early!

Don't worry, it's not a problem at all. If you won, I'll work with you and help you get the money =)   [This is why I don't just blindly send back to the sending address]

Do we need to provide a tx id when we place a bet here? I'm confused in how you can know who to contact if someone does end up winning if you just have the address it was sent from?

Lol 5 blocks in last 5 minutes. I guess miners want to speed up the PevPot results xD 3 blocks left (and 6 after that for hash.)

edit: wow, 3 in 2 minutes. Didn't even have time to send sponsor money lol.

Best time to bet is right now!

No, if you do it properly it will all be automated. I'd recommend creating a forwarding address from:
https://www.pevpot.com/how-to-play

(Just if you do it wrong, and pay from shared-wallet ... or enter the wrong address (like draw #3), let me know and I can work with you to correct it).

BTW I'm going to sleep now, so I'll handle the draw/payment in the morning =)

Ahh, shit... yeah I didn't see this until just now and paid to play the #6th drawing and the #7th one as well... well, if by some kind of miracle I win, I will definitely do everything in my power to verify it's me. I'll just register later when it comes time for the #8th drawing I suppose. I'm going to bed now as well, hope to wake up and see that my ticket is the gold one  Cheesy

We had to wait till block #389006 (always 6th block after draw finished.) The hash of that block is used in the calculation: https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/block/0000000000000000006d52ca33c82ed5320d21be7d8237020fcd037235403cd2

I am personally calculating the results myself and obviously Ryan will also calculate it to determine the winner. This calculation can take a few hours. So after a few hours we will have the result Smiley If you want to verify the result, you can also run the calculation yourself (but takes time and you should have some technical knowledge.)

Unofficial result for #6: 25238990480fd040ff51f793de5f998d4c3e062f09feaa0f6cf6bab34e44edfc

edit: mm so the "Verify" script says 1,553,035,541 tickets, but the Draw page says 1,553,025,541. This gives 2 different winners (by verify script 5 BTC bettor, by draw page 10 BTC bettor):

>>> print 0x25238990480fd040ff51f793de5f998d4c3e062f09feaa0f6cf6bab34e44edfc % 1553035541
1100532042

>>> print 0x25238990480fd040ff51f793de5f998d4c3e062f09feaa0f6cf6bab34e44edfc % 1553025541
260547462

Which one is correct?

edit: previous draws also seem to add 10k tickets at verify script? So I am guessing the draw page is correct.

Thanks for this, the verify script was showing unconfirmed transactions as part of the draw. I forgot to filter them out.

The fix is:

Code:
--- verify.js
+++ verify.js
@@ -123,7 +123,7 @@
         data.txs.forEach(function(transaction) {

           var height = transaction.block_height;
-          if (height > from) return;
+          if (!height || height > from) return;
           if (height < to) {
             done = true;
             return;

and the winner is announced:  https://www.pevpot.com/draws/6 !
