There's pressure pads on the platform so I'm pretty sure 60 lbs should be fine. Around 220 lbs is the max weight and  they  are pretty easy to get used to. I would have an adult supervision there since he is young and maybe a helmet

Yes I can ship worldwide. the reason we seem more expensive is because the shipping is included in the price. If you see a board for cheap on ebay/amazon the shipping is probably around $100
