I think its impossible to stop once you have been addicted, no mater what you do.

it is all about self control. and i think it mostly depend on person's mental strength. while it is easy and common to get addicted to gambling, it is not that hard to discipline yourself to control your gambling habits.

what i do is i put aside a small amount and gamble with that small amount and i am comfortable with that amount, and losing it and do my best not to go out of what i have planed

I think its impossible to stop once you have been addicted, no mater what you do.

it can be done but it cannot be an immediately action. you must learn how to adjust to it and that may takes time. you can try to reduce the urge, duration of gambling, amount  gamble etc. so in the long run, it is possible to stop the addiction but it is still depend heavily on the user.

I believe that once someone knows that they are addicted,
they can do something about it.
This is harder for people who don't realize they are addicted

Just seek help to help you stop doing a lot is just difficult if you are so addicted to it.
You can stop gambling if you do other stuff that can make you addicted to it.
trading one addiction for another isnt really a solution, it really doesnt accomplish anything. the first step should to to completely stay away from gambling, and the addict should aim to cut off all addicting activities out of their life for at least some time so they dont feel tempted to fill the void with something else just as addicting.

I think that people that they now that they are addicted you can just bet and realize that you are not addicted.
The problem is that you can't stop is that when you need to search help from your family or friends you with the addiction.

Running example is the good way to stop gambling, because you can get addicted to it.

But some people are so crazy about gambling, that once they see a game going on television they hardly have the power to resist themselves from gambling on that. I think some people trust their luck just too much.

unless you seek for a professional help, on other words, consult a psychiatrist. kinda shameful though to consult a professional just because you are addicted into gambling Grin its not impossible at all, someone just need to be determined and willing to overcome addiction

First thing that comes to my mind is: you should stay away from gambling forums and not ask gamblers to help you stay away from gambling  Grin

Well stay away from gamblers is a good start.

But the best thing is to be offline and go to a sport school.

Just train and refresh your body and mind.

I think its impossible to stop once you have been addicted, no mater what you do.

Once you've figured out that you are addicted, you can change that and find help for your addiction.

People who say that that's impossible have already given up on everything.
But you can try vacation in far place that you can stay away from any gambling. with you family. I think this the best way that you can forget the gambling while having with your family..

thats just weak willpower, those people need outside help to quit and usually, that help needs to force them to stay away from their addiction. and its not that these people trust their luck, its more like they trap themselves and convince themselves that theyre lucky and will always win the next time, its the only explanation for why they keep coming back despite losing every time.

it seems to be difficult. when you win in your gambling will continue to play and when you lose your gambling will continue to try to win it. very difficult to stop here.

It is about their mindset and discipline, not others! If you can control your behavior and play the fun gambling offers, it is ok for you. Gambling is not making mess to you like any other addictive.

what i like to do is just throw your spare btc into a fresh wallet and store the private key somewhere, then pretend you lost it in gambling, and a couple months later open up the wallet and suprise yourself to some btc.

Don't open the wallet unless you plan to sell/spend the coins.
Otherwise you could still end up gambling them away.  Smiley
