for me to stop playing gambling is very difficult. we should really stay away from an intermediary who can connect us to the gambling games. such as internet and computers. when computers and the Internet did not exist then we can stop playing gambling.

It is difficult to stay away from gambling for a person who has been for years in this. The earlier you realize the better it is to stay away. This addiction brings includes many things like recover and win more. Gambling's addiction is same as drug where person lost ability of thinking and don't want to accept or understand others point of view.

you are right some how. gambling is pretty much similar to drug. gambling not only loose your money, it cause you loose your wealth and your personality too. a hardcore addicted gambler don't get any respect in community and society, I know some gamblers who sell their home equipment and do gamble because they are addicted to gamble and can't live without gambling.

Though it is one way, but I don't think that it is effective...You know how you did it, for sure you will just unblock it when you can't stop your urge anymore... It will only be effective if you do not know how to use your computer or if you really wanted to stop gambling... If you are sharing a network and computer with someone else, then let them do it so you don't know how they do it and what's the password they put in it...

The fact is nobody is forcing us to gamble, we did it with the best of our understanding that it is a risky thing when we are doing it. We should be more responsible in gambling so we will be able to enjoy it not only temporarily but in the long run.

I do believe that is the best chance we can get out in gambling, we should have an interest to replace in gambling and to do it we should know our interest or passion so we can get out easily in gambling, say for example if you love basketball you can do the physical games so you won't be facing your computer all the time to gamble.

Yeah that's a good list for disciplining yourself. I am going to do that the same so that I am going to control myself too. But the most common and helpful thing to do so that you can totally stay away with gambling is by just doing the list number 4. Do something else that is going to get your attention so that your focus is going to change.

Those who are deeply addicted to gambling should seek professional help in coping out of their addiction. It is hard to do it alone if you are deeply addicted. You will need all the support you can get from your family and friends.
