I have 2 antminers going and came home to one with a high pitched beep sound but it was constant. I tried to connect it to the status to see what was going on and could not connect to it. I just restarted it. I will update you on what happens. What does this beep mean? Freaking out!

Paul

UPDATE

I rebooted it. It then started beeping. I got a beep every second or so. It was not constant like before. I powered down, rebooted the router, and tried it again. It seems like it is working now but that was weird!

no internet connection!

take a look to your pool settings, only type the pool address without protocol in front.

I develop atm an custom firmware for the antminer S7, so that you have more options to set.

beep or not beep

throw some stupid messages out of cgminer
 and so on.

each time you send a transaction don't forget to use a new address, each time you receive one also!

It happend to me. All I had to to was reset my router DNS options. For some reason it wasn't updating accordingly. Hope it helps.
