Why is gambling so addicting?

Gambling is so addicting because people like it to do. And they think they will get rich from it. But that is not true.
People see gambling as a game. And they like it. These people are very greedy. And they cant stop. And then they lose a lot of money.

and then when you won you jump from joy and when you lose telling yourself it just a game

You can say this just a game because you just use small bet. How about if you bet a lot and suddenly lose it? I dont think you can say it just a game, because usually people will say this is a cheat or something. You can become addicted to gamble but you need to control it, dont just bet on every single match. Choose a sure win match or high odds with a huge success rate is great

Its true but the people that are gamble addicted are mostly not thinking about the bets  they are doing, or even about the money they have.
They only think about the winning chance and than lose a lot because most of them also use high amount bets.

i agree because i experienced it myself.
when i win i become happy and keep on gambling to win again like an addict.
and when i lose i get mad and keep on gambling to win and negate all those losses like an addict.

The only person that consistently gets rich from gambling is the owner of a successful casino, everyone else that gets rich off gambling has a lot of luck, because long term most people are going to lose if they keep gambling with big amounts of money. But as I do this all for fun, im not really worried about how rich I get, I have other better means of income than gambling.
