Why is gambling so addicting?

I personally think that most people start to gamble because of being bored, lonely and unhappy. Gambling solves almost every problem, because gambling is so intense, it inevitably makes you forget everything, just my opinion tho.

Gambling can be good fun but of course there are boundaries the player should set for themselves and when those boundaries are crossed, that's when it can get messy

That's exactly the problem. Most gamblers set limits for themselves so gambling can be fun for them. On the other hand, many from those people usually go beyond their limits and then start to go mental. Some wouldn't even stop betting until hey have LITERALLY nothing left to bid.

Well I think that is not a problem because if a person is really greedy I think he is already addicted to gambling and not controlling his bets is the one problem a gambler can make because of his addiction he became greedy with every bets he make.

He will become more greedy if wins it big in first round, he will be having a strong feeling that he can win again and that greediness will lead him to the addiction.

Yup! exactly right and people that are not addicted to gambling doesn't really care if gambling is risky, and if they lose to much they will complain more and more that they haven't get any money from it so the worst thing is they will get even more greedier!
