Why is gambling so addicting?

The promise of fast and easy money blinds people and make them roll again and again, not realizing that they are losing money with each consecutive bet.

That is just plain greed then. You cannot blame them actually. Sometimes the ads of gambling sites are just so tempting you just have to play and gamble. Once, I was an addict in lotto. The lure of becoming an instant millionaire is so tempting to resist. I always line up to make a bet. But for the longest time I did not win anything, so I quit.

But the sayings is always true that practice makes perfect, it is acceptable if you will gamble with your emotions when you are still new in the game but along the way you can learn if you are willing, if you can do that maybe you have a chance to make money in gambling.

Even if you can control your emotions, the chance of making money in gambling is still below 50%, because it is based on luck. If your goal is to make money from gambling, then you will be frustrated or worst be addicted to it. gambling is good for stress relief, but for income, not so good.

that's for sure mate if you are not a pro regarding in what particular game that you are dealing with but if you have more skills like in poker and some sports bet i think theres some people who can control their winnings making it possible to turn the table on their expense. but usually like us who just been new to this game we expect more and more loses rather than a winning.

Casino wins when gamblers tends to be very emotional. The moment the gambler is very emotional with his/her betting, that is the start of that gambler being beaten by casino - the more gambler gets excited of the winning and think he/she will win more if he/she bets more, then the reality kicks in, and the house edge will prevail.

If yes, then it is wrong because in gambling more people are losers, and they are the one will play again and again at least to recover their losses in gambling.
