I agree, luck is really needed to win in gambling. Most people that win from gambling is based on their luck. Some people don't have a good strategy on the game that they play but still they win some good amounts in gambling rather than those who have many strategies from gambling. Yes people will not be satisfied also on little profit. But gambling for fun will be the best attitude of a gambler. Some says gambling for fun is an excuse but the true intention is gambling for a big profit. I think its probably possible, but i am also a gambler but just for fun, I only gamble what can i afford to lose. So if i win and got some profit that's awesome and if i lose all my base balance then ill try again tomorrow.
