Maybe you just still hoping that some time you will win more and get all your losses. I said that because  most of the people sepcially the gamblers still have a positve thinking that they can get back all thier losses which is it will never be happen.

Yes, still expecting something positive to come to you, it keeps you on the bet, making you try your luck. It also ends with too much gambling, then it becomes your habit, that's when you become addicted to gambling.

If you cannot stop the water, simply change its direction. I mean if you cannot stop yourself from gambling simply gamble with a very little amount. It will not discourage you if you lose neither you will be facing some real trouble and with time may be you will be able to understand the world of gambling.

Yeah, it is true that because of the human nature or the practices of some people sorround by us. I think if it was so addicting in general, the whole world would already play, but this is obviously not the case, so I think getting addicted or not basically depend on the mentality of the player rather than gambling itself.

i agree, gambling is addicting in general.  Gambling take advantage of human nature and attack human hormone that is secreted on the brain.  It also plays with human emotion such as entertainment and greed.  This factors are the key where a person can lose control of himself and just go along to the flow of event due to either greed or to much entertainment.

The real thing that makes gambling addictive is when we win 2-3 times in a row and earn a lot of money from the victory. But if the calculation, the victory is money from our defeat so far. But sometimes a compliment from people for our victory while gambling, makes us forget that our winning money is not more than the money lost for our defeat. People are addicted to different things. Any particular doing that gives us relief in our leisure time makes us addict to it. It can be playing sports, video games, chatting with some particular person, doing parties, drinking etc but the difference is some have harmful effects and while others help person in growing and gambling is the first one.
