More like it'll go lower, since all people who accept BTC will be cashing out..

and why? i don't remember that any festivity has ever brought a big crash in the past, it was the same, they do not influence the market

this mean only one thing, average joe are not involved with bitcoin too much, they don't hold many or otherwise like you said they would have dumped at every festivity to buy their useless stuff

I think he means to say that merchants will cash out all the sales they make on Bitcoin Black Friday. It does make sense. All sales will get converted to fiat currency instantly.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

No

$650 in 10 days is too much even for BTC, at least in the current stage of adoption
I would be happy if the exchange rate rose in 10 days to $500 though because in recent weeks he walks around $300 and doesn't want to be fixed at least $400.

my point is that merchants can cash out at any time why in the festivity exactly? merchants actually cash out as soon as possible, they do not wait a specific time unless they believe that the price is going to increase in the near future

Back in 2013  there was much more hype from general BTC bumping, i do not think it was much influence from black Friday, i hope i am wrong, we will see in 29th.

The only reason for a pump right now would only be so that the pumper can unload their bag at higher price. We rose from ~220 to 300+ and it seams stabile, but that
was with insane amount of good news and mostely also because no VAT decision in EU, and recently it seams that everything is going downhill from the legal side, so i wouldn't be surprised if we return to
~200-250 instead of going up.

I agree with vendetahome, But there might be a considerable price increase on Black friday.
My prediction is somewhere around the $500 mark.

Well we are all hoping for that but I can't see that coming. Don't expect too much. Personally I'm a bit worried that bitcoin price may go lower instead cuz of this : http://www.coindesk.com/european-union-to-crack-down-on-bitcoin-after-paris-attacks/

Localbitcoins...... Hah.
Price displays should be limited to liquid exchanges.
This resembles the fat finger moment at the Gemini exchange.

I highly doubt we'll reach $1000 on black friday. We got a steady $300 going on, I think we should be satisfied for that right now, compared to the beginning of this year.

So I don't expect much change when black friday comes around.

According to me, reaching 1000$ in just 6 days is just impossible. However, a 100$-200$ increase is still realistic.

Probability ZERO.

All the current news about Bitcoin is NEGATIVE, there is nothing to support any sort of a major price jump upwards.

The last spike is OVER, now we're back in "drift down to actual support level" mode barring any new major news, with aid being given to the downwards-drift force by the current EU "tighten regulations" news.

I'm no longer legendary just in my own mind!

I don't think Chinese people care about Black Friday. No chance.
I still believe we will see little raise around december.
