So they are mining bitcoin or buying it with fiat?
Now lets go back to the mining thing: they use an ordinary computer or a miner hardware (such antminer...etc); so if they use the first one then i could say that this isn't profitable and they can't made a million btc. The second possiblity they need to buy thoses expensive miners with fiat!
Q: Nah maybe they bought btc? A: with fiat

Thoses genius hypocrites think they are talking to donkeys not humans with brains.

Yes , they are also using cars and planes and fiat and things that other people use but that doesn't mean anything . Does it ? the problem is the media who are trying (for one reason or another) to show people that Bitcoin is only for Blackhat hackers , Criminals and terrorists .

You have right. Only Banksters and Governments are affraid of Bitcoin and they produce media campaigns against Bitcoin. When Bitcoin will be stronger the attacks will be stronger. We have to get used to it
This is a perfect way of governments getting what they want....to see bitcoin taken off line. Before this wasn't money used for the longest time. I don't think the issue should be how to prevent it. Did anyone hear if they were refuges?

Logically thinking, it's very clear they use crypto's to fund illegal activities. They're criminals. Why would they use easily traceable fiat currencies? Considering they are probably making purchases internationally, sending hundreds of thousands of dollars isn't easy with cash. Bitcoin is the easiest form of payment. Unfortunately, this will be tainting BTC's reputation worse than silk road if mainstream media gets a hold of the story and make it a big deal (as they do with everything).

If they would, this would be pretty stupid:

ISIS might be using Bitcoin but probably aren't for the same reasons most of the rest of the world isn't. Too volatile too hard to exchange too open to hacker theft... Which, if they prove and show the address, would pretty much mean "open season" for those millions. If someone can hack them and steal those coins it would be welcomed by the rest of us!

Altough there is no firm proof of these news but then also because of bitcoins qualities it is easy to use for funding and that's why there are 100 percent chances of this news to be true.

My view is that this doesn't change Bitcoin's reputation a bit even if it's true. Articles are probably lie, but it seems quite plausible they are using what is the ONLY money in the world right now.

They probably are, because as we know Bitcoin is the fastest way to send money anywhere and anytime.
And Bitcoin is anonymous, so it's "little bit" safe for them to do a transaction.

I don't see how this would shed bad light on bitcoin

They're probably using US dollar too and whoever knows what other currency they are using

Yes they might be using bitcoin for illigal activity but they are doing the same with the dollar

Plus, I haven't seen any solid proof of this.

Because the banks are the ones who finance this conflict. The banks are not using bitcoin so the IS has to use USD as the banks do.

Hey you know what dude? Take care ISIS is also using dollars xD
BTC is a currency, a currency is used to exchange goods and services. Why wouldn't it be used by ISIS?
Especially because it's a universal currency so...

Just hope it won't harm bitcoin.

As it's cleared that fiat currencies cannot be used by terrorists for their demonic materials.
They need an international currency. Digital currencies are the oy remaining option. But, bitcoins are not the only digital currency. Litecoins and many such other currencies do exist. So simply pointing finger towards bitcoins is not right. Other currencies may be used here. So, answer is - not sure.
