The first thing you must do is too introduce this business some important and good aspects of bitcoin like it's decentralization that you will not have to worry if some third party is tracking your transaction cause it's anonymouse. The second is the low fees like what you said it doesn't have any charge back unlike other centralized payment processor that tax you with high fees like paypal, credit card. One of the most facinating aspects of bitcoin is that it is secured it can be hacked, fast confirmation time and can do global payments.

Bitcoin payment is widely has accepted meanwhile starting into small scale business with the bitcoin payment is much appreciated now. After some years we will see the bitcoin's value and usage is big. Henceforth. If you accepting it now. You will be in the row of early adopters list.
Widely accepted ? I am not sure it is yet. Sure, we are growing but if we are really to look at the population of people as well as merchants who have adopted bitcoin usage is still minute compared to the world at large.

Although, it is awesome to know we are not where we used to be which makes us more optimistic we are going higher than we are presently in due time.
Not having an untraceable payment method is not one of the local businesses main concern, I mean they are small businesses not unless it is illegal they don't have any reasons on hiding their transactions away. What they are most likely to look for if they accept Bitcoin as a mode of payment is if it will increase their sales and profit which I don't think it will because accepting a new payment method is not one of the effective ways of increasing your profit.

I think we can encourage local businesses to accept Bitcoin by letting them know how much they will profit should they open their businesses to what is IN today. We have to show them how online enterprising works with the use of cryptocurrencies. Of course, we would have to entice them that they will reach their prospects in the fastest way possible if they seek and open themselves to change. Just as the saying goes, we have to walk the talk. Otherwise stated, we have to show them how it works by example.

The best thing we can do in order to encourage our local business to accept BTC is that the international market start accepting bitcoin and they start trading in bitcoin. This will remove all the doubts of local business traders and they will happily accepting bitcoin then. This is not a big deal, it will take some time and then things will be in very much favor of bitcoin.

I am looking to help move BTC forward into our economy more and would like to get some suggestions on how we can get more retailers to accept BTC as a payment.  The best part about accepting BTC is that they do not have any threat of charge-back from the customer.  I am just looking for some more input before I start approaching some of these local retailers.

Advantage that they can have is BTC is not taxable. or would government interfere with this kind of trade?

The governments of the country are accepting the bitcoin and the flexibility of the bitcoin is the positive thing about the bitcoin, more people are using the bitcoin of the high income. The people who are having the bitcoin know the value of the bitcoin price. The users of the bitcoin are increasing more and more. The government is going to accept the bitcoin for the cost of the high price and the profit will be more than 50%.

Being decentralized and tax free are the two plus points which grasped the attention of so many investors who are now investing in bitcoin. The best way to encourage local business so that they start accepting bitcoin is to show them the role and importance of bitcoin in the international market. This will give them a food of thought and they will think of something better.

First,we should create awareness among the local retailers about bitcoin. They should be easily explained about the concept in which bitcoin works. They must be explained that once customer pays in bitcoin, the transaction could not be reversed. So,its safe for them. Also, when they accept payments in bitcoin, there is more probability for bitcoin price to only increase. So,their profits would get increased.Unless, bitcoin gets regulated, they should be said that they would enjoy tax free earnings from bitcoin.

Also,by acceptint bitcoin as payments, they would be able to attract more customers and increase their business.

The best idea would be partnering with the local bitcoin wallet. I would like to use my country as an example, the local BTC wallet is allowing the users to buy prepaid load with 10℅ rebates. The App also allows the users to see the offer of that telecommunications company. If all retail store will partner with it, they would get benefited by it because they will be acknowledge by the growing number of bitcoin users. Some partners of our local wallet are some university, electric and internet corporation, public institutions and telecommunication Company. It would be nice if Online shop will partner with it also.

I have read in this forum that in some countries, you are actually required to declare your bitcoin addresses and the 25% of your cash out amounts should be declared in your annual tax form. 25% is such a huge percentage since it was meant to be 0%. As you can see, the government is already interfering with what Satoshi wanted. Anyway, we should expect more of this in the future as the population of the bitcoin community blows up. The government is simply trying to avoid going bankrupt once everyone starts using bitcoin.

Not that I encourage it, but most businesses are actually declaring tax details that are far less than the actual amount of income that they get. Even without bitcoin, people are already cheating in this kind of stuff. Let's just say that everyone is using bitcoin and everyone is then required to declare their bitcoin address, there will be a lot of ways to get around with it but I do think that a local business owner probably already know all about the lowering your income in the tax statement. The government doesn't have the time to check each and every little store's actual earnings so people just cheat.

Businesses that offers digital goods or operates online is very easy to be encouraged. Just state the facts that many online stores accepts btc already and local businesses will surely follow.

I guess we also need a good advertisement so local businesses will got curious in bitcoin. If we have a good and professional advertisement that can hooked a lot of local businesses it will not going to be hard to accept bitcoin.
Curiosity of local business is not good enough to encourage local businesses to accept bitcoin. Maybe we need to give them some idea regarding the good side of owning bitcoin. On that time we need to become one sided for the sake of good marketing of bitcoin.
Giving them first curiosity is not bad before giving them an idea for owning a bitcoin. I think giving them curiosity for a first step for them to have also an idea about what is bitcoin. I am just suggesting and if you think my suggestion is bad then you can give your own suggestion.
I am not getting you like what kind of curiosity you want to give them. Rather making them curious about bitcoin, it is better to introduce them to bitcoin and then ask them to search further themselves. We need to give them examples of those who are now millionaires just because of bitcoin and talk to them about the bright future of bitcoin. Only in this way they will start accepting bitcoin.
Yeah this is what I was looking for. Seriously nothing would affect the local businessmen. If you are just telling them the pros and cons of bitcoins and then you are just going on and on. There will be no results that change them because they are not so much impressed with it. You have to give them most of the practical examples that will definitely effect.

Sometimes the problem is not about effort people need to put in to let the use of Bitcoin bet accepted by local businesses, the main problem is the people's perception about the Bitcoin itself. Most people who are ignorant about Bitcoin think it is mostly used as a medium of exchange for scammers. Moreover, some governments are seriously again the use of Bitcoin and that makes it difficult too.
And in my opinion it is the only one reason for which bitcoins are not easily understandable and convincing to local businesses. Governments don’t take interest in it, thus local person is just ignorant to it and that cause the main flaw in system. Why a local businessman who didn’t even heard the word of bitcoin is supposed to accept it.

I think that the best way to encourage any sort of a business to accept bitcoin is to tell them that you are interested to buy what they are offering, but the only way you can pay them is via the digital currency bitcoin.

I am pretty sure that most of them would start reading about bitcoin and it's benefits, and later on when you do the deal, they will realize how easy accepting bitcoin is, and there is a small chance that they would start officially accepting it.

I think if you want businesses in your country accept BTC I think at first Bitcoin need to be legalized in your country. After Bitcoin legalized it'll become a hot trend soon then every business in your country will accept BTC and you don't have to anything to do that Smiley). But to legalize Bitcoin in any country is very difficult cause Bitcoin also has some disadvantages that why it's not legalized worldwide

The knowledge is just what is important. Most of them are still in the dark and as much as some have been getting the hint, they are still very lazy to research on their own and find out all about it except the owners of the local businesses themselves are very much conversant and decides to take the step.

Those are the kind of people that can still be encouraged. However, I feel there is no need to rush, everything will take its course in due time and you won't even need to encourage local businesses as they will see what others are doing themselves and find out how to imbibe such as well in their business.
