I believe it says isis in general have this wallet, not the paris attackers themselves..
In that case it's not really that big of a deal is it? 3mm is just a drop in the bucket of isis funding is it not?
If anything BTC+isis is likely just a way for the media to sling shit on BTC..

It doesn't matter still. Good publicity or bad publicity is still a publicity, in any case Bitcoin will be known and the more people will hear about it will tend to look it up on the net and see the good sides and bad sides. But definitely, its the advantage of using BTC that they will later see.

I'm not sure if it was ISIS killer. It could be anyone who have that wallet.
We all know bitcoin is anonymous, it's very hard to track the wallet unless you already have bitcoin address in your contact.

This has already been debunked as a lie. https://twitter.com/postmoi/status/648159249491718144 and the discussion follows here, https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/3t7mba/lewis_sanders_iv_reporter_w_dw_news_deutsche/It just shows you how reckless these journalist can be. There is no editorial proof reading and responsibility to report facts. You just post crap online and apologize on Twitter. ^What a joke^

It's a GhostSec operation or at least its labeled as such we will need anon confirms looks like its false thanks Kakmakr and the web is full of Ads and FUD. “Most of the Bitcoin funding sites utilized by the Islamic State are on the deep web and we have managed to uncover several and successfully shut them down in order to limit the funding extremists receive through the use of cryptocurrencies. You can't shut down the deepweb that easily and the address is utilized there, remaining suspicious.

Are you serious? ISIS would have been obliterated a long time ago if they weren't being backed by money and they most certainly have got a lot of it. What better way for them to conduct business than by using Bitcoin? No names no, bank accounts. Probably not a problem for them but definitely a big deal if they're transacting with sources from within the western world (which is most likely how they acquire data, weapons etc).

This is complete bullshit. That ISIS killer is probably a complete dipshit or this whole article is absolutely fake. And seeing as the fact that ISIS managed to pull off that whole attack on Parris, i'm pretty sure that they are not dipshits, so this article is a complete lie. Well that is unless you can provide us evidence of that account.

Does not matter Anonymous is coming for them. Anonymous has declared cyberwar against the so-called Islamic State in retaliation for the Paris terrorist attacks. Anonymous, a 12-year-old virtual community that's been linked to hacks on everything from the government of Zimbabwe and Bay Area Rapid Transit to Visa, MasterCard and the Federal Reserve, has proven plenty capable of following through with its threats. The U.K.'s Independent reported that Anonymous has already started leaking information about ISIS members, and the publication said it's seen one post that includes the address of a recruiter in Europe. Using the Twitter handle @opparisofficial, Anonymous said on Tuesday that more than 5,500 Twitter accounts for ISIS are down. http://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/paris-terror-attacks/cyber-war-what-can-anonymous-really-do-isis-n465836

I do feel bad that this even happened since the damage is mostly done already to the Bitcoin. it's 3M not 3B which would be impossible since it's 60% of the bitcoin market cap, at present it would mean 9M coins in one wallet... not even satoshi could dream about this amount

Even if that is true, and ISIS is founded partially with Bitcoin so what? Bitcoin is like less than 0.5% of their total source of money. I don't see people crying about that USD or EURO or any other FIAT money is used by terrorists to fund their operations.

Great source - Don't believe everything you read. Get over it, ANYONE can access Bitcoin, therefore I can see it being utilized by terror cells. Yes, it can be accessed by anyone but that doesn't necessarily mean that ISIS funding are comprised by bitcoins. The source of this news is not even known, so how can we believe what's written in there if the source of the news itself is not credible or even known at the least?

again i guess it's a very low number of bitcoin, otherwise the price must be skyrocket first, or it simply fuds because they ar enot using bitcoin ok you can move big wave of money with it without traceability, but then how can they use those money without risking to being tracked?

This is just propaganda to allow the banking system to try and stifle something that is threatening to them. Long live the New World Order and Illuminati, right?
Who gives a shit if terrorists are using bitcoin. If they weren't using it, they'd be using something else. American Dollars probably... There are videos of Rumsfeld shaking Bin Laden's hand. Its all a system of using fear to keep control. Puppetmasters are at the helm.

" The 1995 bombings in France were carried out by the Armed Islamic Group (GIA), who were broadening the Algerian Civil War to France. In total, these attacks killed eight and
injured more than 100 people. The assassination of Abdelbaki Sahraoui, a co-founder of the Islamic Salvation Front (FIS) who opposed attacks in France, was a prelude of this
extension of the Islamists' terrorist campaign to France. "
Where was Bitcoin in 1995? How did these guys fund the attack?
" According to the FBI terrorism consultant Evan Kohlmann, part of the money used to finance the bombings came from people connected to the Brandbergen Mosque in Haninge,
Sweden. " .......Oh my... Why did they not ban fiat?

Spreading of rumours is not a new thing. Its happening since life started on earth. So has happened in this very case. Bitcoin has many enemies which are always ready with their guns loaded waiting for the right moment for a headshot. Journalist who spread this rumour must be against principle of bitcoins and thats why he took advantage of Paris attacks and gave a shot by spreading rumours at right moment. As informed by investigative community, its all fake. And bitcoins still remain in their proud position. And it's cleared that ISIS used Russian currency for their weapons. So, bitcoins have no involvation in this manner.

It's too easy to prove it but they chose to write fake news just to scare people. I think we should teach these fudsters a lesson.
"No evidence was given, such as the bitcoin wallet address, as the hackers “cannot go into more detail at the moment on current investigations.”"
Whoever wrote this article, you can go fuck yourself.

Is so sad to see news like that, cmon guys, how many fiat money did terrorist used from his "cause"? compared with bitcoin is like 0.00003%? and there is some people trying to show how bad is bitcoin by relating this with criminals? really?
IMHO all those news have 0% credibility and only want one thing, to destabilize the bitcoin.

Thanks for linking. The news was really odd, but believable. Unfortunately they haven't provided addresses making it very unlikely to be true, and here we have a confirmation

FBI agent on vacation in France at time of attack: I just paid for my frappuccino when all of a sudden an ISIS terrorist blew himself up. His passport and bitcoin wallet landed on the foot of my feet which I immediately scoped up and pass on to the local authorities who just who happened to be nearby.
<same dude during a subsequent interview a day later>: I just paid for my herbal tea when I noticed one of the ISIS terrorist screaming Allahu Akbar, then he blew himself up. A piece of paper with alphanumeric characters and $30M written on it landed at my feet. I immediately recognized it as a bitcoin wallet address so I pass it over to the local authorities who just so happened to be nearby.

That's far fetched nonsense. Why would they ban one of the rare payment options that can be tracked all the way to block it is generated from. I don't believe for a second that ban will ever happen, but then again, the world is being ruled by morons..
