how do I restore the wallet from the seed?
Go to File > New/Restore and create a new wallet. When you get to the wallet creation wizard, choose the option to restore a wallet from the seed and just follow the instructions.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Yes, enter the name and hit OK. It will open up a wizard.
