Could we have a parlay contest instead to replace the current competition? Something like the one that could win parlay over 100 odds or something like that would be nice or something like the most parlay win with a minimum odds of 15. Imo it is nice to have variation to this competition somehow

The contest is already in the daily challenges you may also see only a few people managed to win with odds of less than @ 5
it means very difficult to run a parlay contest and only a few people follow it  that's just my opinion

We already try that variation with the Daily Challenges. That's one of the reasons we made them.
On this competition, we kept changing between parlay challenges and single bets challenges.
Limiting the competition to just a parlay competition would be to much, since some users don't even like to make parlays, and we do our best to keep an interest for everyone.

The best thing I can think of, and I'm not making this official, it's a random thought and I haven't discussed it with the team. We could have a very hard challenge that could be used to steal the normal challenges.

Something like this:

Although reaching top7 might be hard, we do have Daily Challenges, and those can be reached by anyone.
Take a look at Free1bitco.in, he decided to go for the Daily Challenge side competition, and even not doing so well in the leaderboard, he manage to take home a total of 420mBTC to his directbet casino account.

Anyway even without that, you will still get our participation prize of 70mBTC.
This is an almost risk free competition, you really should not pass it away, if you like sportsbetting!

I think that the more difficult a contest is, thats when things going to be heating up. I personally love to see people hunting for high odds parlay, in the end it will be a game about luck and if there is a good prize offered for the competition then I think still alot of people will be willing to join it

Yes everyone waiting for the next contest but we have to look for ideas so that people can complete a 100 bets so far some of the participants do not finish their bets certainly they had some reason we need to know why they did not finish the bets. is it possible participants do not have to pay ROI reset ?

But that would be unfair for those that did well (or not so bad) on the first week. I would rather propose an "anytime reset" feature, but that you had to pay an amount proportional to how much negative ROI you want to clean (say, 1 mBTC per 1% of negative ROI cleaned, or something like that). That would be attractive to those wanting to win at all odds, plus the prizes could be increased (or the tips for the organizers, or whatever)! Also, it would be a bit fairer (paying the same to remove a -3% ROI that a -50% does not make much sense to me).

Your ideas interesting but in my opinion for Bankrolll - 10% have to pay 0.001 btc , Bankroll - 99 % have to pay 0.0099 BTC so max for ROI reset only 0.01 BTC This seems to be more attractive and lead participants remain competitive, let us with whether other participants agree with this

That would be a huge advantage. You get up to 6 "start overs" at the end of the competition, so you can just make crazy bets on the final week, and see if you can get lucky, that would be unfair for those that did well during the first 3 weeks.

I'm not even sure if the problem with people not finishing their bets has anything to do with their ROI.
By not finishing the 100 bets, you will not get your participation prize, so even with negative ROI, there is a big incentive to finish the 100 bets, so that you get the 70mBTC.

Indeed right , not to say that there could be some people with different bitcointalk account entering the competition then he doesnt need to even buy the ROI reset as well as could get over 6 fresh ROI to start with . As for the 70 mbtc participation prize, imo it still needs some loyalty points to be withdrawable

But he still got his participation prize according to the new rules. Now when using multi entry accounts the 100 bets can be reached by adding bets from all entries, so he still got 100 valid bets on entry 1 and 2, and still got his participation prize.

I'm not against the ROI reset, I just think it should not be available during the entire competition, because that would just give to many reset options in the last week of the competition, and that would be unfair for someone that was regular during the entire competition.

Perhaps, increase the limits of the base bets made as that would increase the competition and prevent spam betting like the past . Since the prize pool is high so that would also only have good tipsters win. However it might decrease the enrollment.

Right now I do not have an idea for the next competition but I'm hoping available promos such as competition VI double prize for participants to bet using Eth    I'm sure many participants bet with Eth because Directbet.eu already provides the address in the casino wallet.
