As usual after this one is over we will take some time for balance, and to listen to feedback etc, so we can improve the next one if needed (it normally lasts a few weeks). After that time we normally open the registration period that also lasts a few weeks, and then we start.

So you need to stay tuned to this thread, as we will keep making all the announcements here. Looking back to the other competitions, it should start on August, but this is not an official date yet, so keep following this thread for the official announcement.

seem more interesting and a lot of betting options competition between countries is very difficult for me may be too difficult for some people

Even if the penalty didn't happen, how would it have helped Germany to Win ? Since France scored a goal in the second half, it was all they needed to win.

For the next competition (or any competition similar in format), I would like to suggest you to get rid of the bonus system, or lower the number of points it awards (maybe modify it, for example, make correct score bets multiply the ROI earned x2, or something similar)... I really gave up in the second round when I noticed my opponent had placed bets on almost every possible outcome (and I had no full time internet access to follow a similar "strategy").

Thanks for your suggestion. We did change the bonus system, I think it really worked well on the Playoffs phase, since most of the users that tried to get the extra points also got positive ROI% from it. A really good example of a good use of the extra points system was saturn643 winning points from bonus system and normal system on the same day more than one time. He even got 4 points in one round.

Thanks for your feedback. We will take it into consideration, although I think that if we do start it on August we will not do another "themed competition", so it probably wouldn't only allow bets on Olympic Games. Anyway, like I said nothing has been decided yet, so keep those suggestion coming.

The fist penalty was strange, coming from who, not the field refereee^^
then France scored a real goal, there are one obvious penalty for germany forgotten plus many faults.
Any host countries always have a great advantage, this is on for long now, South Corea, Chili...

The goal surely affected Germany emotional and made them have to go to attack, then France scored another goal and it was game over.

Without the penalty maybe game could end as 0-0 and Germany would have a chance to win in the penalties

There is no 'to qualify' because this is the final, I guess, so there is no next stage. You can pick Euro winner in the specials.

And the problem with Directbet is that sometimes the lines take some time to appear, if you'll be AFK for some hours and can't go to the site to place the bets right before game starts, this might be a problem

There is no prize for 2nd place. Remember this is just a side competition, and we are already spending 1060 mBTC to give a chance for everyone to have fun and win something with it, and not just normal top7.
