Important update

Ok guys, right now this is what we have:

Side competition
New structure: League + Playoffs, instead of the previous group phase that had a problem with inactive groups)
New prizes:
- 30 mBTC Casino House Credit (for those that reach the 1/8 Finals)
- 1st 500 mBTC
- 2nd 300 mBTC
- 3rd 100 mBTC (to be determined by a matchup between the players who lost in the semi-finals)

Contribution Prize (100 mBTC Casino House Credit)
We will remove the participation prize, and replace it with this new prize.

Here is how it will work:
- All qualified participants will receive 100 mBTC Casino House Credit
- members will have to actively post their bets in the main thread
- members will have to promote the competition in their Sig OR Avatar during the competition outside of games and rounds (you can promote with both if you want, but we just ask for one)
- 3,000 loyalty points need to be earned before it can be withdrawn
- 10,000 loyalty points for members with activity of 70 or lower

So with this new prize, we expect to reward those users that actively post their bets in our main thread as they should.
We will also reward those that actively promote our competition. This will bring more players, and will ultimately increase it's quality.

There is no minimum posts or anything like that, we just want to reward users that participate in our competition, to post their bets in our main thread, and support our competition by helping us promote it outside games and rounds by using our avatar or signature. We don't really need you to change your habits, if you are already an active member in this forum, this prize will most definitely be for you!

A little bit disagree with this new rules especially about have to wear sig or avatar.
As everyone know , some people joining a sig campaign that required wearing both avatar and signature i guess this rules will prevent a member with that criteria.
How about to change or add it to put directbet tipster championship on personal message ? Overall i agree with the new rules except this one.

Yes if you can't use your signature or avatar, you can alternatively put the following text as your personal message :

This will also qualify you for the Contribution prize.

Just to clarify :

You can participate in the competition without promoting it in your signature or avatar or personal text.

We will award 100 mBTC to those who do it and contribute to the competition as described above, but you don't have to. It's completely optional.

You can still participate in the competition and win all other prizes without doing any of the above.

Well, as for announcement of participants that qualify for next rounds, I believe it's always on time, since we have one day interval between every phase, and all announcements are made on that day. As for the points update, we try to make it as soon as possible, but we can't make it exactly on the transition from one betting day to the other, specially on the group phase (since we have to manually check a considerable amount of participants).

We will continue to try it as soon s possible, but my advice is that you guys keep an eye on the Daily ROI%, of key players that are close to you, that should give you some very accurate information about the changes that will take place, after the official announcement.

Never the less, I will try my best to always update the standings before 13h UTC, that should give you half of a betting day, and normally most popular games, at least in Europe, occur after that time.

Hello everyone. The list of updates continues. Now it's time for a small one, regarding the minimum bankrolls.
The minimum is still 100mBTC, but we need to adjust the altcoins minimum bankrolls, since there has been a significant fluctuation on their price.

So here are the new values:

Yes, it's possible for newbies to join us. You need to register like everyone else, on our registration thread, after the 17th November at 00h UTC.
After that directbet will decide if you are allowed to join the competition or not, and we will let you know.

Anyway in your case you should probably advance to Jr. Member before registration opens, so I don't think you will have any problems.

You're currently three activity points away from being a Junior Member, so chances are that restriction won't apply to you, when the time to register comes (from November 17 onward).

Important Update:

Hello everyone! Registration is almost opening, and it's time for the big announcement!
You kept asking, and like I always say, we do listen, and do our best to make this competition better, edition after edition.

It's time to bring the X3 Prizes Back!
(we will triple top7 prizes, for those using a bankroll of 1 BTC or more)

On the next competition, users that play with a bankroll of 1 BTC or more, will get their prizes tripled if they finish on Top7.
So there are no more excuses guys! It's up to 5.4 BTC when using the multi account feature, if you succeed on the incredible task of placing 3 accounts on top3, with > 1 BTC bankroll.
That's a crazy task I know, but the first place itself will pay 3 BTC, when using > 1 BTC bankroll.

Right now all announcements are finished and I think we did a good job revamping the competition.
Registration opens on the 17th November, so feel free to make more suggestions. Maybe we can still implement them.

Summary of Updates  for the X Tipster Championship

Hello everyone, the registration for the X Tipster Championship opens in a few hours, so here is the summary of recent updates.

Bankroll update:
Altcoin price adjustment: 100mBTC (or 300K DOGE +, 20 LTC +, 7 DASH +, 7 Ether +)

Main competition update:
X3 Prizes: Users playing with a bankroll of 1 BTC or more will have their Top7 prizes tripled
(so 3 BTC for first place, 1.5 BTC for second place, and so on)

Contribution Prize: (currently replacing the participation prize, that has been removed)
- All qualified participants will receive 100 mBTC Casino House Credit
- 3,000 loyalty points need to be earned before it can be withdrawn
- 10,000 loyalty points for members with activity of 70 or lower
- members will have to actively post their bets in the main thread
- members will have to promote the competition in their Sig OR Avatar during the competition outside of games and rounds

i guess yes , as fruegreads did not mentoned it back in the new rules.

but better to wait their confirmation as i can not see the 5% max bet rules too mentioned, anyways really happy to see these new rules , seems like everything established after 9 competition series. bigger bankroll , bigger prize i wish i can join the x3 prize , still considered this .
