Hello everyone, I would like to remind you that the side competition starts in a few hours (at 7 February 00h UTC).
As usual everyone is competing with entry 1 by default, unless they stated otherwise (if you want to change this, just let us know).

It is .001 and .0014. Even if you don't combine both bets as .0024, .0014 is more than 1% of my 125.5 mbtc bankroll.

only the first bet that arrives counts, so your first 0.001 bet arrived and was not considered for the competition, and the 0.0014 bet, when arrived, was ignored and not even considered for the leaderboard
I don't know if there is a workaround for this

I figured out what went wrong. Apparently coinbase sent the .001 first since I sent the bets back to back. It's fine. When will you post the side competition points? I believe the first day will end in 2 hours.

Yes the first day will end at 00h UTC, so in an hour and a few minutes from now.
I will only update the points tomorrow, and will probably only do it after 13h UTC.

You can of course have a quick look to the daily ROI% before the day ends, and you will be able to have a good idea on how the points will be awarded.
There are no daily challenges for now, so if top16 players (based on daily ROI%, not global) made at least three bets today, they will be the ones getting the points.

EDIT: Ok, I'm glad it's solved. If the 0.001 made it first, then that's the reason why the other one got rejected, since it was a duplicate bet.

usually registration ends at the 10th of each month.

I think this time was different because of a shorter month and because they changed the structure of the side competition, but only the tipster championship staff knows the exact reasons, and if will be different in the next competitions

We usually close late registration when we start the side competition, since this month is shorter, we started the side competition at the 7th February at 00h UTC, and that's why registration is already closed. We did had around one month period for registration though, as we normally do.

I will leave you with two very important warnings:
- Please remember that you need to place 3 bets on any given day to qualify for points.
- Please remember that we will use Entry 1 by default, unless you ask us to use another entry for the side competition.

This is very important because mbluxs(E3) did not receive any points and had a daily ROI% of 40%, and Omikifuse would get more points if he was using either entry 2 or 3. So remember, if you want to use another entry let us know in advance.

As for the minimum 3 bets to receive points, Eric Cartman would receive 9 points if he had placed 3 bets during the first day of the side competition, but he only placed one.

Another warning, now related to the contribution prize:
Please remember that you need to be active outside the games and rounds.
