Also in practice the side competition requires more than 3 bets a day, because many games starts before midnight and only ends after(like NBA games and some of South American leagues games), so they would not count for the 3 bets for either day.
Also some tennis games can be unpredictable about the exact time they start(the schedules say game starts not before X hour, not after X hour), and the length is not easy to determine beforehand.

Hello Karpeles, in the case of tennis, or similar cases where the bet is not settled in time, but the user could not predict it or do anything about it, we will still count it as a placed bet for that given day.

On the other cases, where the game starts very close to 00h UTC and the user knows that will end only on the next day, then we will count it as a bet for the next day. We have to do it like this, because users could exploit this.

Let's say you have a positive ROI% already with your first bet. You could safely make two bets close to midnight that would count for the three minimum bets of that day, but would only affect the ROI% of the next day. We can't allow this, so we will count them as bets made on the day they were suppose to settle.

So this is what we do:
We look at the time the game starts, we see if the game could end in that given day. If so, we will count it for the minimum bets of that day.
If we see that the bet would only normally settle on the next day, then we will count it as a valid bet for that next day.

Hello everyone, here is the update of the provisional standings after the first day of the Phase I of the Side Competition.
As usual, although everyone is automatically enrolled, we are only displaying users that already have points. So after this first day only the Top24 are listed there.

Don't forget that you need at least 3 bets (placed and settled) on any given day to qualify for points.
You can see my previous post, right before this one, in order to understand how things work, if you don't already know.
We had 3 users that did not received points because they did not had the minimum number of bets.

Side Competition schedule:
Phase 1: 10 to 15 April at 00h UTC
Mini League 1: 16 to 19 April at 00h UTC
Mini League 2: 20 to 23 April at 00h UTC
Mini League 3: 24 to 27 April at 00h UTC
Mini League 4 28 April to 1 May at 00h UTC

Daily challenges Schedule:
Wednesday: Winning bet at the highest odds (minimum odds @1.2)
Thursday: Highest number of wins during the day (minimum odds @1.2)
Friday: Parlay won with the highest number of selections (minimum odds @1.8)

Global rules:
- You need to place at least 3 bets on any given day to qualify for points [Very Important]
- Bets will need to settle on that given day, in order to be counted for the minimum bet requirement [Very Important]
(exception to this, is when the reasons for the bet to remain unsettled could not be controlled by the user)
- Each day we will award points based on the ROI% made on that day (points will be awarded each day after 00h UTC)
- (In case of ties Global ROI% will be used to solve the tie)

Hello andrealandia it's like MadeinCoin said, and I also mentioned in the post with those points.
Those are the provisional standings after the first day of the Side Competition.

You are participating in two competitions at the same time. The main one, where we will use your monthly ROI% and award Top7 prizes, and another one, with a completely different structure.

On the Side Competition, we will use your Daily ROI%, and award points. It's divided in two Phases, and we are now in Phase I.
After this phase, the Top24 players will advance to the Phase II.

On Phase II, we will have 4 mini Leages, each of them with individual prizes.

Important note

Hello everyone, I would like to remind our players, specially the new ones, that according to the rules, a player can only post 100 valid bets, no more no less. All the other bets will not count for the competition, and will not affect the ROI%

For those users with only one Entry, and although registration is already over, we will still allow them to add new entries, in order to participate in the Side Competition at least. Those new entries will not qualify for Top7 prizes of the main competition though.

We already have a user with 190 bets, that was informed of this situation by pm.
Other users in this situation please let us know what you want to do.

Hello everyone! Here is the update of the provisional standings from Phase I of the Side Competition, after it's second day.
All the reminders stay from my previous post. Don't forget to place at least three bets on any given day, in order to receive points.
Those bets also need to be settled on that day, unless something happened that could not be controlled by our participants (like what happened with the game between Dortmund and Monaco). We counted those bets as a placed bet.

Hello romeorickl64, it's like Karpeles said. The personal text is only for the Contribution prize, and you are in our contribution prize list, as you can see in this post:

Now, related to your question about the Side Competition, you, and all other users that registered for the Tipster Championship are automatically enrolled for both Main and Side Competition, so you just need to keep placing your bets. Although both competition have different prizes and rules, they run parallel, and every valid bet you place is allowing to compete on both.

The standings haven't been updated yet. u9y42 will be the one making this update, but I think he will only be able to do it later today.
