Which altcoins exchanges are recommended? I've seen many times some opportunities buying and selling altcoins between different exchanges sites, besides I did some of this operations. However, almost ever I've had some problems with the withdrawals, such as transaction IDs that don't apear or huge delays.

So, what do you recommend? Is this altcoin arbitrage possible? Which exchanges are recommended to buy and sell? As you can see I'm a newbie with just one month of experience in the 'cryptoworld' (and I've been scammed 5 times).

Try Bittrex and stay away from those scammers of Cryptsy!

Cryptsy all of a sudden starting restricting users to alt crypto withdrawals amounting to max $25 per day.

They want extra personal info before they will allow $2000 max per day.

Lot of people have have been trapped by this..bad for Cryptsy

It depends on your needs, if you don't care about little fees and/or little different between the rates then I would recommend shapeshift.io, as I mentioned their rates might be a little low from the traditional exchanges but it's worth it because they save you a lot of hassle and time, the exchange is instant (usually 1 confirmation is required) but you'll get your funds instantly upon getting 1 confirmation and I haven't had any problems with them EVER.

ShapeShift.io allows instant exchange from any coin to any coin : )
No registration or verification bs.

Not very suitable for daily trade for profit though.

i would avoid cryptsy, they kept a btc deposit of mine a month back and after a dozen automated responses from their "support" i gave up. in addition to the sketchy rumors about them, there are just far to many of us who have lost coins (large and small amounts) to justify taking the chance. i think they are in trouble, maybe insolvent considering todays news that they took all their wallets offline.

id go with bittrex or poloniex, a lot less sketchy.

You can use Bittrex, Poloniex, Cryptsy and Bter. These exchanges has enough volume to trade . Also you can use Bluetrade . it has not much volume but very quality exchange. Stay away c-cex and yobit.

Poloniex I regard as top quality. But does require your name and country to enable your account i think.
